This is just a hunch, but what happens if you uninstall the USB-display drivers completely?

 

The reason I ask is, as a result of researching extensively recently, they now claim "hardware acceleration". Given the hardware specs, nothing could be further from the truth. I suspect that there are attempts at the driver level to DMA whole screens (literally FPS) of data from Window's DWM (which lives in a graphics card on the PCIe bus) via multiple routing points on the motherboard in order to spew it back out of a USB port.

 

All in all a bad plan.

Other prognosis: UltraMFCD and DWM might be getting confused where the SLI situation is concerned. Please check your settings to ensure that you're REALLY running on a single, non-SLI gfx card. As a last resort, literally yank the second card from your system.

yeah Im out of luck now. For a test, I disabled everything. No USB monitor, removed surround and just used a single screen, disabled SLI and uninstalled ALL mods via JSGME.

 

good thing is, I get over 100 fps now lol. bad thing is, the crazy input lag persists. Must be something else on my system that interferes, but I cant think of anything tbh

How's it going on with the "live-taxi-Charts"? Because, if you figure it out how to "export" those coordinates, wouldn't it then be possible to use a chart like this (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=102322) for a "moving map"?

and then maybe with clickable airport and nav-aides data and maybe googlemaps implemention and and and...? :music_whistling:

 

because there is already a (dead) thread about a try to build a external map for android devices (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116790) which should do the same things...

The issue is not technical. All of the behind-the-scenes stuff to enable "live maps" is already done. The issue is that ED owns the mapping material, and thus far, I've managed to contrive UltraMFCD in a fashion that requires no royalty payments whatsoever.

 

Including the maps would.... lawyers.... contracts.... pains in the arse.

EDIT: CLR.DLL issue resolved by reinstalling Net 4.5. However, now I get nothing displayed on any of the panels in uMFCD. Do I need a custom monitor .lua ala idisplay or does uMFCD create one automagically?

 

I seem to be having a bit of trouble setting it up too. Given what I've seen in DCS, I can only imagine it's an A-10C issue. (LUAs perhaps?)

 

Flying the Mig-29s seems to dump the gauge data just fine, functioning as I assume it would with the A-10C. However, every attempt to fly the A-10C with uMFCD results in a crash in clr.dll, which appears to be related to NET 4.5. Fresh W7 install, NET 4.5 is there as per uMFCD's needs. Any ideas on what could be hindering my ability to load up the A-10C?

Add me to the list. I was getting a still picture in all of my exported windows. It was also extremely delayed in reacting to button presses, both mouse, and on my HOTAS. Tried everything I could think of. Then I rolled back the Nvidia driver to 347.52 and it's working flawlessly. Subscribing for updates.

Yes, we're aware that this happens. It would appear that SweetFX makes sufficiently wide-ranging changes that UltraMFCD gets very confused indeed.

 

It's on the fix list at a medium priority (because who doesn't like things to look nice?)

Any monitorsetup.lua will work. UltraMFCD will either override whatever you've got in there, or generate it automagically. Same goes for export.lua, with the exception that it preserves whatever functionality it finds in an existing version, generating one on the fly otherwise.

I can implement the HUD export relatively quickly (including mirroring so it displays the correct way up in a reflector). LAN export is something that's being worked on in parallel, so there should be some initial results in the not too distant future.

just installed this

(restarted DCS after 2 year+ or so, new 40' monitor, great view),

 

looks great

but loss of controls indicator Rctrl+Enter both in Ka-50 & A-10c is a big problem (to me)

 

PLZ fix?

jezus man. I don't know what you are doing all of that on the movie. I am thinking i am a noob. Just start to start up emgine and fly away with the a-10c. I have a lot to learn. When i learned i come back.:thumbup::book:

Just installed it and it looks great, at first glance, the FPS hit isn't that much but I'll need to look into it more.

 

I don't like it that I'm unable to see my CTRL-ENTER control position window in the KA50, I tend to rely on that more than I should....

 

Credits where credit is due, I really like the software, it saves me the pain from getting a touchscreen or other display!
