I am considering buying the Thrustmaster Warthog, but have been reading some posts here and else where about a problem concerning leaving the device plugged in and the unit bricking, can I ask does anyone know if Thrustmaster have addressed this problem?,( as of march 2015) I just know Id forget to unplug the unit before shutting my PC down, and would hate to end up with a Bricked unit.

Thanks in advance

IIRC The problem was fixed last year.

I have never unplugged the controllers for a restart.

And lately(last 3-4 months, i have done an automatic restart each morning. There have been no problems for me.

My Warthog has been plugged in for over a year. I never turn my computer off. I've had no issues (that weren't due to my own stupidity). If my Warthog was stolen from me today.....after hunting the dirty dog down and making him say, "Mommy." I would buy another as soon as possible.

Thanks for all the replies, I did see the dates, but never saw one that confirmed the problem was fixed.

Excellent saying to work by... To add to the above comments, I've had mine for three years with no issues, mine is plugged in all the time and I turn my computer on and off almost daily.

When I got my warthog it really gave me issues on Falcon BMS.

However what I found was that it seemed to have issues with Windows 8.1.

When I added another boot drive with Windows 7 and the programs on that drive all the issues went away.

Love the setup now...

What sort of issues? I have been running my flight sim machine on Win 8.1 for over a year with no issues.
