At 10k feet. I have already considered that it's only happened since update? Any one else got the same problem. I have trimmed and trimmed and trimmed. I have got thousands invested but I am fed up with it all now. Can anyone please shed some light on this issue! Even when I'm taxing it's still happening. Is there anyway to calibrate rudder pedals?

I have just checked axis viewer and everything is indicated as it should be so why all of a sudden is this happening!

Thank you Trev for your input. An I right in saying If I trim the rudder that should get rid of it. If so I have trimmed rudder still no change. And at take off I have exactly the same amount if deflection of the nose at 55 knots?

I will try else where and see if it changes !

No, you shouldn't trim against this, as Trev pointed out already. This just indicates that your plane is being pushed to the side by a (strong) wind from the side (called "crosswind").

Try this: if you find yourself in such a situation, turn 180°. After you've reversed course, the ladder should be offset to the other side. If that's the case, everything works as intended.

If the ladder is still offset to the same side on a reverse course, there seems to be something really wrong. In that case I'd try in this order: disable all mods (if any); repair DCS World; unplug all joysticks/controllers (including Xbox controllers and anything remotely alike!) and try with keyboard only; delete (or move away/rename) Saved Games\DCS World; uninstall and then reinstall DCS World.

Let us know how it goes.

I only fly the A-10C so I am acutely aware of any changes that occur with this plane alone. I don't remember which update it was but about 2 or 3 updates ago my hog began pulling to the right regardless of circumstances or wind variations. I too not only have to compensate with steering down the runway but also have to trim to the left when in the air. Although it's not a big deal and easy to compensate for I remain convinced that this was a bug introduced by one of the updates. There were others that noticed this about 6 months ago but it never was discussed much in a short lived thread. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.:music_whistling:

Blooze and Jateu,

can you upload a short track?

I don't suffer from this problem, but maybe a track could help nail it down.

Does having the offset nose gear contribute to drift on taxi and takeoff?

Well, now I will have to eat my own words. I just flew a test mission with no wind or loadout and it flew straight as an arrow. I stand corrected. Maybe the update actually made the effects of wind and/or weapons more realistic. I learn something every day with this sim.

Yeah that also happened to me, I will be flying a sortie a little later, I will check if its still happening.

EDIT: Sorry didn't see your other post.

Asymmetrical drag from stores can make for a very active rudder during takeoff.

I don't think its new. Perhaps some are only flying with sharper asymmetries of drag than usual.

Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.

I am new to the A 10c and I recently installed the sim with patches and I too have noticed a persistent and slight roll or turn to the right along with a slight dive. Admittedly I am so new to this simulator I really have no idea what is realistic and what would be considered a bug but I thought I would respond with what I noticed from an instant action flight.

Wmiles I had the sane problem before. However it's not a problem the A-10C is very sensitive on trim. It's something have to constantly do. I have the hotas warthog and it makes a huge difference being able to constantly trim as you fly.
