This guy survived 117 of my .50 cal rounds PLUS a mid-air collision with another Mustang.

Shhh, only Mk108 is too weak, DM doesn't matter.:D:music_whistling:

No, but realy. I know your pain. I had many similar situations in both MP and SP. Sometimes they go down quickly, other times I hit at simillar places (engine area) and nothing happens.

The p51's propeller didn't even stop. :D

I always thought there was a good reason for those aircraft to have wood blades... There was some mistery involving it..... The Allies never found out the true formula, or what trees from the German forests were used to build those props.... DCS has perfectly modelled this.... Just that :-)

Didn't the Bf109 have all metal blades? The Dora had wooden blades.

"A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft."

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

But, could that screen just show a net code problem more than a DM one? Or is it offline?

I think that is very possible.
I was playing single player. It was an AI P-51 that collided with an AI Bf-109. The P-51 was destroyed but the Bf-109 kept flying.

Obviously the DM is very poor actually in DCS for all airplanes, especially for AI airplanes, :music_whistling:... but don´t worry gents, it is perfectly realistic for my dear friend Manowar, it's only a problem of the inexperienced pilots or crappy hardware. :D

I hope and trust that E.D., will be able to improve the DM on the DCS:World 2.0 .. if they didn't, it would be a waste of all good job that they have achieved so far.
