I agree that a constant low hum or something to simulate engine/wind noise would be a nice addition at least in concept. I suspect my neighbors downstairs would begin to hate me on long flights lol. Once you get a taste of everything working with this software the 'gaps' where it ISN'T humming along are much more evident.

Hi Frank,

With JetSeat you can use G-feeling effect with default DZ settings for constant humming.

Another hint - F-5 already has the engine humming FX.

Would you please continue discussion in JetSeat dedicated thread ?

My comment was in regards to the Shaker Sound Module, but cool too see you've got it going with that seat...and I'm not Frank :smilewink::thumbup:

Hey,

Sorry for being a pita but I have another Problem. I am outputting the simshaker and game sounds through voicemeeter banana and it works great. But I can't output the DCS audio through the rift at the same time. How do I do that?

Thanks!

With voicemeeter you can assign up to tree outputs. Try to assign the rift to one output and then only route the windows sound to it...

Hey,

I have set the Realtek output to A1 and Rift to A2 but still can't hear anything. How do I route Windows sounds only?

Thanks!

You can select where each input should be played: A1,A2,A3,B1,B2

I my setup the windows output goes to virtual input channel 1 and SimShaker sound to virtual input aux.

Virtual input channel 1 is routed to A1, A2

Virtual input aux channel is routed to A2

A1 -> my speakers

A2 -> my second sound card where my butt kicker is connected to

In your setup you could use A3 and route it to your Rift and then route from Virtual channel to A3...

In general, the routing can be assigned next to the slider for each channel

Ah now I understand, I didn't get that I had two simultaneous virtual inputs (assumed either aux or normal)

Will try tonight, thanks again!

edit: it worked finally, thank you very much!!!

Hello,

unfortunately the A-10's Gau rumble running with Buttkicker is still too slow. When firing 50 rounds per second in the first second and up to 70 rounds when pushing the trigger longer, there should be from the beginning a constant, very very little fluctuating signal sent to the transducer. It feels a lot better now but there should be a little tuneup in higher firerate. Now you can still feel every single bullet and this cannot be right with 50Hz up to 70Hz. Blackshark fits perfect now since last update. Is there a way to edit the the output-rate frequency by myself somewhere deep inside the Simshaker software?

Yes, you can adjust the effect, using custom sound samples, as described in Advanced Setup section of Sound Module UG

This is the gun effect wav with the correct Hz of the GAU-8. As you can see, it is a very high frequent sound.

Hi,

I have now a gametrix KW-908.

I have simshaker 3 in 1 installed and running.

Is it normal that I have to right click on the simshaker icon and manually launch simshaker for dcs world, to have it work? If I do not do that, it does not launch automatically when I launch DCS, and of course I have no vibration on my seat.

Thanks

So, maybe it is better to remove 3 in 1, and take the dcs world and assetto corsa version and run them at the same time?

(Or I mean 3 in 1 and dcs world version at the same time)

btw when you'll release simshaker for wheels, will you include the 3 in 1 cars like iracing and AC in the wheels version? That would be great to have a single simshaker for ALL supported flight sims (dcs world and falcon for now, and the aviator later), and one for all supported racing sims.

I ask because in the simshaker for wheels info you do not put AC and iracing in the list of supported sims.

Thanks
