Hi guys, where would one find the beta download? Interested in trying the effects with the F-5E. Or is that special beta testers only? Thanks Jason

Did some flying with it and seems to work just fine. Because of the auto flap/slat functions of the F-5 I think it might be a usefull option to be able to set the flap volume for the F-5 separately from the other planes, since it goes up and down a lot.

The real issue I found when after landing, stopping and even switching everything in the plane off, there was still some effects going on, like slow taxi bumbs. Very slow and soft but still very noticable.

It happened both times after I landed the plane, one time after a training mission and one time after a self made mission from the mission editor.

Also still noted that with unlimited ammo (training missions) there is no gun effect. I remember this was an issue from ED´s side and could not be addressed by simshaker software. Is this still the case?

cheers,

Geert

Yeah I ended up turning the flap effects off because of the constant movement. Also I think what you're referring to is the landing gear effects after you land, it goes away if you hike the nose again, this seems like some kind of bug.

Yes, there is an issue with the hiking effect. I'll look into this tonight.

Separat flap effect 'volume' for each plane is a bit complicated to implement into our user interface. Andre and I will discuss what we can do in the future.

I personally like to 'ongoing' flap effect. I just reduced it to 70 for JetSeat and 50 for SoundModule.

Hello Andre,

Got my Jetseat Yesterday.

Works great, but I've got e few questions.

1-Two of the motors, make a (licht non disturbing) high pitched kind of ringing sound when they operate specially when in low rpm, like when they just started to operate .... is this normal ?

it gets a bit irritating if I only hear the motor but it is producing almost no vibration.

This is mostly noticeable when the left hand upper backside motor is trying to produce the very light piston beat, I feel almost nothing but, the ringing sound is there.

maybe it kan be solved by a more power full programmed piston beat.

2- And how can I tune the files for DCS modules my self...I can not find the uwv files for P51 for example. Where are those files situated ?

Further more I want to say that it is a great product, specially when leaving the ground and runway vibration stops.

Also it is great to feel which side mainwheel is hitting the runway first.

What I would like to have extra is propellor vibration.

I know that the piston beat is there, but it is a bit weak in my opinion (allmost not noticable !!) so I would like to tune that myself. ...but how :music_whistling:

thanks,

John

Hi John,

thanks for your feedback and complimentary remarks.

Would you please tell me your order ID? I'd like to mark it in my tables as delivered.

Actually I don't like it, but the manufacturer (i.e. Gametrix) considers high pitched sound and a slight variety in vibe strength as normal. From my experience high pitched sound goes away pretty soon when JetSeat is working and bearings have got lined up.

If it will still bother you after a while please let me know.

Please follow by this link https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/2015/09/how-to-customize-uwv-files-for-gametrix.html

Do you mean a particular aircraft or all of them?

Hi John,

The order ID is WNHFLOUGP (hope this code is what you mean).

It was a fast delivery, took only 4 days, way faster then I expected

On youre remark about bearing alignment.....well...I will give it a while, and test the heck out of the jetseat...its fun.. :).

About the prop vibration, I really only tested the P51D.

Remark:

strange thing happend ..when I adjusted the strength of "High angle of attack shudders" to 100% the stall effect disappeared in game.

then when I adjusted it back to 98% it re -appeared in game very strong.

Also the piston beat is much stronger at 98 % now as to the 100% I tested in the beginning it seems. ( it now feels much more realistic while at 100 % I almost felt nothing)

....maybe something to check out !!

Thanks for the quick and clear answers.

And good luck with the business !

Sorry to say it Andrey, but i've done some extensive testing on the jetseat and there is a problem!.

I've got two motors that are making the jingling sound and that are weaker than the rest.

It is the lefthand upper back side (nr5) that is the worse and getting worser.

you hear it starting up like an electric wining sound and if it operates, you hear a rattle like there is to much play on the axle.

In the beginning the sound went away when the motor was operated at max power (tried this in UWV editor)..but now the sound stays and the motor feels weak.

The sound is getting annoying during game play, specially when you don't feel it vibrating.

And the righthand seat lower (nr 2) motor is a bit stronger than nr 5 but also sounds like having trouble to startup.

Is it possible to get two good motors ??.

It should be no problem to replace them myself (with a little bit of sowing and stitching :D).

The rest of the motors are almost without sound and feel solid in operation.

Hope you can help.

John

Hi John,

since you've got "JetSeat service pack" ordered, I will send you a couple of motors free of charge till the end of the week. Thank you for the feedback.

Many thanks Andrey, great service !

Looking forward to getting the motors, have the fun of installing them, and make the jet seat function at its best.

Do you want the old motors send back ? if so i.. will pay for delivery costs.

Greetings

Hi guys, having a slight issue updating the latest simshacker software (1.1.1.33) , ive had this before and it corrected itself but this time its driving me nuts.

basically I start simshacker, and it asks for me to authorise simshacker to temporary allow admin rights, I click ok to continue and then get an error message stating opps could not open coonection, is another instance running, come up twice, I click ok and it opens 2 windows of simshacker and then I get a net framework error that closes one of the instances and another window stating form load network port is busy.

now obviously its trying to open simshacker twice, and that's overloading the ports. has anyone got any idea how to correct so I can update please.

nope only have 1 running mate and only one in task manager.

Update.

Deleted all versions, I could find.

Wheels,

Beta,

Normal.

Reinstalled just 1.1.1.33 only with Admin rights and issue still occurs. Likewise with Beta 1.1.1.37

Wheels Beta appears unaffected.

Is there a way I can change the port it uses as there is a conflict somewhere, I'll just be damned if I can find it.

The simshaker that stays open does appear to work and communicate with the jetseat as I can test motors etc without issue, just trying to get rid of the rather annoying errors.

OK.

1) Please try to replace files

and

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Cockpit\device_init.lua

2) Do the same with DCS World 2 OpenAlpha files

3) Try to start SimShaker and report if the issue is solved
