Looks good, I'm definitely going to buy it. One question though - will it eventually get PFM/EFM, and when?

I believe they said they are working on a AFM now, I think they are hoping to have it in at release, but Zeus would be better to answer that I suppose :)

Yes, it will have a EFM. When? Not trying to sound glib, but when we feel that it is ready. Right now it is not. It is not even an alpha.

"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

"The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."

Tbh I feel confidant in you guys. The progress that you have shown so far in DCS and the experience your team has in FSX, I have no worries for the EFM.

Thank you!

Take your time, no problem to wait as long as you get it right. And I'm sure you will.

I'm surprised so many people are jumping on board so early. We've seen nothing in DCS from this company, and their first offering is priced along the lines of the A-10C (which is a masterpiece) That bar is set so high, that I wouldn't even take a chance pre-ordering. Add in the lack of communication on the forums, it's a "wait for reviews" module for me.

Congrats to Razbam to reach this phase!

Regarding the AFM: With which other DCS a/c can I compare your AFM? Is it a AFM like in the Su-25T or A-10A or will it be a EFM (the level of the A-10C, MiG-21bis)?

M-2000C for DCS World by RAZBAM

DCS: C-101 Aviojet by AvioDev

DCS: MiG-15bis by Belsimtek

Hawk T.1A for DCS World by VEAO Simulations

DCS: MiG-21bis by Leatherneck Simulations

I don't know why, but Hawk and M2000 are.

Hawk makes sense since it uses SFM, i think maybe this will officially be called DCS : Mirage 2000 when the AFM is set in stone and finished. edit : actually c101 doesnt have afm either... hmm strange

One question, if I buy the M2000-C module with my bonus amount does the money go directly to the developers or is there any relevant share with ED?

I respect ED business model but I want to pay for this guys effort. Flying and fighting in the Mirage 2000 will be amazing and, above all, they are bringing the A-7 :pirate:

You can't use your bonus dollars to purchase a module that is already being discounted.

I know that, thank you. I'll wait for purchase phase... if it's immediately after Open Beta release. If not, I'll pre-purchase it in a time lapse. I want to put my hands on this bird ASAP.

Isnt the A10C and a10A fm exacly the same?

Apparently not, since the C has differential brakes, which is a flight model limitation, based on what has been stated on the subject.

EDIT: According to Wags post on the subject, the A-10A has an AFM+ while the A-10C has a PFM.

Yeah we've seen nothing in DCS, currently.

But this bird is (basically) based on the FSX one, which was very impressive for me.

And now, on DCS, much less limitations here, why this work goes so badly?

This is why I "jumped in", isn't it enough?

Congratulations on your first dcs module! However, im not going to pre-purchase sadly. I think the 60$ price tag is too much for a product that does not promise EFM at release, sorry.

Neither do i think a pre-purchase at 50$ for a plane that might not come with EFM is justified either. I've had enough of the "we'll release now for full price, but EFM wont be here in several months.."

Anyways, i'll definitely pick it up when it gets an EFM. Looks like a great plane.

Point taken. I was mostly referring to "Razbam Wednesdays" and any other "updates" that seem to have ended sometime in 2014. Thank you for the link I will continue to look for more information regarding this module.

Yet people were willing to pay roughly the same price for other planes with less avionics systems to model. This will come with an EFM (eventually), which is what all the non-FC modules are getting. Unlike some of the other studios, which never released anything before, RAZBAM has an impressive product list for FSX. $50 would be a more ideal price, but it isn't so far out there considering WWII planes cost $50 ($20-30 is more appropriate for WWII planes IMO, but I don't set the prices).

Seems like everyone randomly jumped on the skepticism bandwagon for one of the first non-WWII and non-trainer fixed wing aircraft. :(

I'll have to wait a while to get it myself due to lack of funds. But I'm happy one dev is making an airframe I have some interest in.
