SeraphimGray Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) Now this would be cool airplane for new DLC. :pilotfly: Also known as Whistling Death. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdJii33_Jko Edited October 3, 2015 by SeraphimGray 1 I come here to chew bubblegum and kick-ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum. :D

Celestiale Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Doesn't fit the current plane setup at all. If, then only in tandem with the Hayate

Ngl I literally just went to the very back of the Wish list and asked "What hasn't been implemented yet?" and I just saw the Corsair and revived a 7 year old thread. I already know Magnitude 3 LLC is working on it but I hope they're not as bad as VEAO. We all hope a VEAO-like developer doesn't come to DCS, nor does a current dev turn into VEAO. (Razbam was like VEAO at first but then we realized Razbam actually followed through on their many promises) Edited December 6, 2022 by SilentSparrow

Chill out I didn't say M3 was as bad as VEAO I just heard some things being floated around a long time ago about M3 doing bad stuff, so I was a bit worried. In fact, it was RAZBAM who I compared to VEAO not M3. On another note, I just realized DCS has its own campaigns (They're kinda like movies and series if you think about it), devs judged by the community on the forum (Like on the street) and other similarities to real life (Social interactions via servers), so it's nice to see DCS having such a large and active community. Hiob Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Ouch, that comparison hurts... But again - how big (and how well funded) are the involved teams? Couldn't that be an important factor? "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

That there aren’t enough to fund it’s development. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
Hiob Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) Well, DCS is a niche product, even in the sim-genre - that's no question I think. But from my perception, they're doing well. There was quite a growth in the past two years. And judging by the fast growing number of third party developers, it can't be sooo bad. There seem to be an incentive for 3rd parties to join DCS. Don't you think so? Still, some 3rd Party developers are very small and have more in common with enthusiasts than with a full fledged game developer. Edit: And I'd like to add, I think that it is likely, that sooner or later A developement for DCS will die on the way. That's just how things are. Not everyone will always make it to the finish line. But I don't think that such an event would be critical for DCS as a whole. Kang Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Just would like to remind people: the fact that there was a wishlist thread for the Corsair seven years ago does not mean that M3 has been working on it for seven years. 1
Hammer1-1 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 yeah but they could have been...it takes a while to build one of these monsters. Honestly takes more time to design these for games than it does to literally build them IRL.
