USA_Recon Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 When I select external views in single or multiplayer the FPS is really low and the quality drops- is this known issue ? (If no I can provide more info)
GeorgeLKMT Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do you have depth of field turned on? If yes, try turning it off. Also, they would probably like you to include more details: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147710 ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
joey45 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I have no frame drops. What are your system specs and settings? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. I'm not convinced that the 'depth of field' is in any way realistic anyway, it just blurs everything other than the aircraft with no real difference between near/far objects.
ED Team NineLine Posted October 4, 2015 ED Team Posted October 4, 2015 Is this all the time, or is it initially when you jump in, I notice there is a short time when the sim starts you need to let everything sort of catch up and load. Are you running from an SSD or a standard hard drive? Specs help as well. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Ratski Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I only downloaded yesterday and had the same issue. Getting about 45/55 fps in the cockpit (Black Shark and included Mustang) dropped to around 12/15 in all external views and very blurred with little detail. Leaving it running didn't seem to improve matters. Turning off "Depth of Field" increases fps to around 45/55 and now looks very nice in external views.
