baltic_dragon Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) During the testing of Enemy Within under 1.5 I found one mission where enemy (insurgent) infantry randomly refuses to engage blue forces. I say randomly, as they do attack in 1 out of 5 tries. Mission takes place at night and was built under 1.2 However, when I build a mission from scratch under 1.5, insert the same time, units and triggers, everything works. Any ideas what might be amiss? 159th_Falcon Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Have you tried re-saving the old mission in the 1.5 editor? Have hearth it helps. Put 1 RED and 1 BLUE infantry group right next to each other (Like 10m) and noone engaged. Must be a bug. Paganus Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I think there was a version some time ago that did this. I recall the work around was to give them a waypoint to move to even if it was a short distance.
Grimes Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yeah confirmed two issues seem to exist at least when testing on the tester build. 1. With no waypoints the infantry don't attack. 2. With a waypoint it looks like the infantry use up a single clip of ammo then take appox 3 minutes to reload. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Rivvern Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Russian soldiers doesnt attack, impossible to kill Ok. Something strange is going on with the russian soldiers. When i place US and RU troops next to eachother. Nothing happends. US soldiers will fire on russian vehicles but the RU soldiers just stand there. Like they are invincible and immortal. They disembarking alright, they go to this waypoint, where is two enemy soldiers placed. As soon as my infantry see enemy they start to fire to each other. My Infantry killing one enemy soldier and just continuing sit there and not going to the waypoint, they sit there for 15 minutes until I quit... AKA LazzySeal

Paganus Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Try having the Blue infantry spawn just outside the range of the Red. Then move them into the range and see if they fire.
