Ranbi2Delta Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Could we perhaps have some official word on this? "What's that goat doing up here in the clouds?"
Nirvi Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Choppy view movement when using the mouse has been reported. Thanks for the reports! #0032394 Serious uglies Discord 4YA - Project Overlord WW2 Server My DCS Videos
huge Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Glad to hear! The difference on my end between hotfix 2 to 3 was pretty shocking. In the meantime does anybody know the previous version number so i can rollback via the updater? (hotfix 2)
droopy114 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 See post #2, hotfix 2: 1.5.0.45655
Vectury Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Glad to hear! The difference on my end between hotfix 2 to 3 was pretty shocking. Same here. Before Hotfix #3 i had DX11 crashes. That is solved now (ty ED), but it's been replaced with massive stutters. I'm sure the next hotfix will fix this, but I'm hoping nothing new pops up. Blaze Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I'm sure the next hotfix will fix this, but I'm hoping nothing new pops up. You know how the saying goes... 99 little bugs in the code, 99 littles bugs. Take one down, patch it around, 117 little bugs in the code." :P In all seriousness, hope the next hotfix smooths things out again. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Vyrtuoz Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Jerky mouse in 1.5.0.46175 Since the update 1.5.0.46175 the mouse is now properly hidden while flying. However, the mouse movements are now quite jerky. It is particularly noticeable while rotating around the aircraft in external view. The same way, rearming dialog box is quite slow to react to the mouse cursor movement over its items. This is unrelated to my frame rate which is between 30 fps and 60 fps. The mouse responsiveness seems like 5 fps… It can be compared to the smooth numpad camera panning. This has been noticed on several computers.
nigelmcelwee Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 same issue here. Although I use trackir, I went to test a setting out real quick and didn't plug in my trackir and when I panned around the cockpit with the mouse it was very very jerky. Like OP said, only about 5 fps is what it felt like even though my fps counter was locked at 60. PumaX Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I can reproduce this using the following steps. 1. Jump to cockpit and turn mouse look on. 2. Press and hold down any key on keyboard. 3. Move mouse to look around. 4. Keep holding the keyboard key down, and moving the mouse. No matter how laggy the view movement gets my framerate is still at constant 60.
M4tz3 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I can reproduce this using the following steps. 1. Jump to cockpit and turn mouse look on. 2. Press and hold down any key on keyboard. 3. Move mouse to look around. 4. Keep holding the keyboard key down, and moving the mouse. No matter how laggy the view movement gets my framerate is still at constant 60. That's what i experienced too. Looks like the bug is input-related.
Blaze Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I am having the same issues, but only with depth of field effects enabled. I feel like this shouldn't be happening based on my following system specs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX980M 4G GDDR5 Graphics w/ G-SYNC. Intel Core i7-4720HQ 2.6 GHz (turbo to 3.6GHz). 24 GB RAM Windows 8.1 DoF is known to demolish FPS on its own. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement.
