Tosher Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) I have had an issue for quite awhile since 1.26 and still with the new update beta. When flying the A10C in multiplayer and I eject I do not parachute down. My view will stay with the ejection seat and when the seat itself hits the ground I go back to the map screen. My ejection sequence is normal during single player. Is this just me? and is there a way to fix it? Thanks! Edited October 29, 2015 by BIGNEWY

cardboard_man Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Is it on a server that does not allow external view? because i think that might be the reason.
QuiGon Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 He's not the only one. I also experience this sometimes when playing online. I'm not quite sure, but IIRC it was not only the A-10C where it happend. I think I also experienced it in the MiG-21. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
sLYFa Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I hade the same Issue in the F-15 in both 1.2.6 and 1.5 IIRC it only happened on servers with views off or f2 limited to ownship only i5-8600k @4.9Ghz, 2080ti , 32GB@2666Mhz, 512GB SSD

QuiGon Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I also think it has to do with servers with limited view options. I will check this and post a track when it happens again to me. kerlix Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) I actually had this happen to me yesterday, only it was in a single player campaign, offline. I was using the Georgian Hammer (Fixed) that can be found in the User Files section of downloads. It was odd. I was struck by a SA-19 (I think) at around 7-8k feet. Every light bulb in the cockpit lit up. It was like Christmas - a really bad Christmas. I immediately punched out. I proceeded to watch (from 1st person view), while also watching the altitude at the bottom of the screen, as I helplessly fell all the way to the ground. I know for a fact I descended about 6800 ft from punch out to ground impact. I also had an issue where it wouldn't let me switch to external view. First time anything like that has ever happened. It was......interesting. Edit: This was not using the Beta.
