It is such a pity that we have to exclude people using passwords, because open access certainly helps widen the popularity of servers. Excellent to see VA back in action whichever way you decide to deal with the idiots.

Whatever it takes if it means a minor inconvience to remember a password or maybe have to join TS to get a pw to gain access to the server. And agree maybe Ed will implimeant SLMOD into DCSW2.0. Hopefully when dedi servers come out there be more permanant admin controls. Glad u guys did'nt bail on us as this is literally the only server I flew in becuase of enviorment it provided. Agree.......a password on the server is a great idea, and a good solution for the short term at least. What about a simple application process together with a list of rules and conditions the end user has to agree to before the server password is issued to that person. Contact details, say an email where the password can be sent to the person so there is some traceability there, or via PM here on the forum. A rule to forbid anyone forwarding the password to a third person so the admin has control over who gets on the server and who does not. Anyone wanting to play by the rules of the server owners wouldn't have an issue with this I'm sure. Hopefully ED will implement some way to allow aerobatic servers to be better and easier organised. They came up with a great idea for the L-39 back seat issue, and fairly quickly too. Surely they could put something in the mission planner to disable all weapons in a mission for guy's like VA or other aerobatic servers to use. Too many people abusing the servers. No respect for others flying, taking off where ever it suits, crashing into people on purpose and no and nothing to stop it. Me thinks this sim / game could do with a ban list of some description. Good luck guys, we're all behind you. Sounds good to me :) Making sure those slots are set to to spawn in the air, fully loaded for rapid response. Maybe in the future it will be possible to script something that makes use of AI aircraft patrolling the skies looking for offenders live firing in a non-combat free flight server? Shahdoh Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 That's really the main problem right now. None of the scripts that check on the clients are working atm due to changes in 1.5. As soon as they get that workingagain, then admin tools and other control scripts can be put to use again. It is a known/reported issue, trying to be patient waiting for the fix. Pman Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 We are currently working on a new layout as we are migrating the server to a more permanent solution in the next month or so. When that is done we can expand more options in the misson/missions. We are also contemplating having 2 days a week with nevada on the server as well. Pman
Shahdoh Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 There are 6 Cargo's approximately 4.5 miles south of Mozdok along the rivers edge. The number is minimal atm due to number of objects in mission affecting public server visibility (at least at time of creation). Enjoy!

Shahdoh Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Something strange happened on the VA today (6 Feb), it dropped all connections but still showed it as online and available. I have since restarted the server. Pretty sure have seen Ka-50's sling loading ok so hoping this is just a weird glitch that cropped up.
