  1. Just for the sake of adding support to this topic, I experience the same problem. The IHADSS monacle appears to be a tad high which also means the George AI menu requires I look very far up to see. It's quite unnatural feeling and has me on TrackIR more than I'd want for such an amazing module to experience in VR. I'm sure it has to do with my face shape and the necessary fit for the Reverb G2 for me, but it would be great if there was some vertical adjustment similar to what the Ka-50 has.
  2. So after testing with NVGs this is what I see. When clicking Fire on the MFD to fire the laser a green dot is created on the designated spot. Slewing the TPOD seems to have no effect on this green dot position at all. When I unclick Fire and click Fire again a new green dot is created at the new TDC position. The old green dot remains. So obviously a bug and I am sure this will be addressed.
  3. Try this method: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 exact command: dcs_updater install RAZBAM_AV8BNA I just did this and it is installed.
  4. CH Pro Throttle. I think I am stuck using digital key binding as opposed to analog unless I consider purchasing a throttle quadrant or a different throttle.
  5. I loved this server in 1.5, I have been contemplating picking up Normandy and getting back into war birds. With that said, every evening (US Central time) that I fire up 2.0 to see if the server is populated, it appears to have no more than 2-3 folks on it. Same with all other WWII servers, has the Normandy/asset pack combo heavily reduced the amount of US time zone WWII pilots, or am I missing something?
  6. Damn those are nice MFD cards. I have a somewhat standard I use across air frames, the downside is that it means many of the buttons don't get used on all the aircraft. I might have to consider giving yours a shot.
  7. Hey I wanted to say great guide. I have referred many newcomers to it. It's helped many folks, and even showed veterans a thing or two.
  8. To the best of my knowledge it goes as follows: DG Mode overrides sight mode and is the same as A/A1 but with radar giving you target distance information. DM Mode overrides sight mode and is the same as MSL but with radar giving you target distance information. MSL, A/A1, and A/A2 modes allow you to toggle between these sight modes without radar guidance. A/A2 is meant for targets that aren't maneuvering significantly, typically bombers.
  9. This was very helpful. I was getting off the ground, but using this it has become a lot better. Specifically stick full right and not back. Still can't land the thing reliably.
  10. Hopefully the Spit will balance that out a bit.
  11. This seems to happen in multiplayer when someone joins an aircraft in your flight. So if you slot into the 1st F-15 slot, when someone slots into the 2nd slot, the first slots menu breaks.

My stable client is 1.5.5.59744.197 I ran the updater via command line.
  13. Having not read through all 379 pages of this thread, this could be a repost. But here is a fun Viggen article: http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/6237/saabs-viggen-could-stick-a-landing-and-takeoff-again-like-no-other-fighter
  14. Isn't the issue that mixed loadouts are not supported by the aircraft? Meaning mixing rockets + bombs will cause issues per the real aircraft, as the plane wasn't meant to mix air to ground ordinance.
  15. Please see this quote in regards to top speed performance. From here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2930176&postcount=60
  16. The Mirage is the most capable, as it is a 4th gen interceptor. It is still an older version than the FC3 planes, and therefore equipped with shorter range missiles. Within visual range it is amazing, in BVR you really need buddies to give yourself a chance. Otherwise you need to bait enemies into fighting on your terms by using terrain.
  17. The North American Battalion of TAW is hoping to grow its ranks. Although quite a bit younger and smaller than our EU brethren we are no less fun to fly with. If any North American pilots are looking for a group to fly with, please message me for more information or apply on TAW.net. We have a scheduled mission each Sunday at 6:50 PM Central, and fly various times throughout the week and weekend. We use Teamspeak and Slack for basic communications, and SimpleRadio for realistic radio communications. We accept pilots of all skill levels and experience, and have training instructors who can assist with all aspects of DCS. If you are new to the game and feel a bit overwhelmed, we can absolutely help you get started. We are currently looking for, in no particular order: F-15s, Su-27s, Mirages, A-10Cs, Su-25s, Ka-50s and other Helicopter pilots. We are also looking at adding ATC to our Sunday missions, and have members available within TAW who can train air traffic controllers for anyone interested. As a side note, I will look into streaming in the near future so folks can get a peek into what it's like to fly with us.
  18. TAW.net is recruiting, and we offer training from experienced pilots on the A-10. We have folks flying throughout the week, and Sundays we run an organized mission utilizing multiple airframes. We'd be happy to take you all under our wing and have more active pilots on board. I fly in the NA division and teach the F-15 and Mirage. Let me know if you are interested, or feel free to fill out the application form on the TAW.net site.
  19. Manual is located in your dcs folder under mods -> m2000c -> docs. All of this info will be covered in that, also you can look at Chucks DCS Mirage guide which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3WnVhcm5hTUJOTjg/view
  20. Add to this Mirage 2000C Pilots!
