Would anyone be willing to create a combat MEDEVAC style mission on the NTTR featuring UH-1/Mi-8 with random generated tasks?

Some inspiration perhaps: [ame]

Su-27: Operation Desert Sword

P1_zpsubsehj4y.jpg

In this mission you are the lead pilot in an Aggressor flight of 4 Su-27's. Your mission is to carry out an offensive fighter sweep of certain ranges within the NTTR to prevent enemy high-value air asset ferry missions. You're authorised to destroy any enemy targets you come across. Be careful though - intelligence indicates that the HVAA targets are escorted by enemy fighters...

The mission begins with a cold start at Groom Lake and then a late afternoon patrol and combat with enemy forces. If you take your time over destroying the enemy aircraft before returning to base it's entirely possible that you'll be landing in the dark.

A very big thanks to Baltic Dragon for the AWACS voice-overs.

Known issues:

1. When you ask for permission to taxi your wingmen won't wait for you. They usually start to taxi in this order: 3, 4, 2 and then you the player. Although strange this won't effect the mission as you can pass them to pull ahead on the runway for takeoff. It appears that this is a DCS World bug and I can't do anything to correct the problem. Not a show stopper by any means. Edited to add: This problem appears to have solved itself... Weird.

2. In addition to a friendly AWACS you also have an EWR site. For some reason the EWR site won't respond to radio requests. This again appears to be a DCS World bug over which I have no control.

The mission is available here:

Hi. Just a quick note to all the mission creators. Thank you so much.

Making one's own missions is one of the things I really enjoy in DCS world.

I still have tons to learn and you guys are great at leading me in the right direction.

F15 NTTR easy practice

I took one of the fine Nellis templates from here and added some things to allow F15 pilot and practice aim 120 and TWS. Lots of targets with few fighting back other than trying to bomb Nellis. It's not perfect but it's a hoot.

Eliminate all incoming. I had to re-arm and refuel twice my last time out.

There are two waves of enemy. Thanks for the templates.

Anyone here interested in creating an agressor campaign based off the red Eagles using the Migs? PM me and we can talk details. I'm not a great mission designer but I have extensive data and material on the subject

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

DCS WORLD FREEFLIGHT NTTR 2.1.1 (DCS VERSION 2.1.1) DCS_WORLD_FF_NTTRx23_Summer_09.00_Morning.miz (x23 is the playerslot count)

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2773929/

DCS_WORLD_FF_NTTRx23_Summer_09.00_Morning allows you to go on a sightseeing tour with your A-10A, A-10C, F-15C, Bf 109 K-4, Fw 190 D-9.

This mission is based on the mission Nevada Sightseeing Tour x2.miz I found in *:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft\Hawk\Missions\EN\Multiplayer. Feel free to use the mission manager to edit the mission and swap some aircrafts for the ones you prefer.

To adopt the new pattern used in DCS 2.0 to locate and save missions I have created a folder Missions inside of *:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\terrains\Nevada . The resulting path which I am using: *:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\terrains\Nevada\Missions (because this mission uses different aircrafts and requires the NTTR)

I hope you like what you see. Getting the bunch of UH-1H working wasn´t easy. Have fun!

Su-27 Bogey-on-demand

Here's an intercept training mission supported by MOOSE.

All of it is easily changeable to whatever a/c you fly, or wish to engage.

You are on Tonopah. Take off, use the radio menu: F11 - F10 - F1: "GIMME A BOGEY SIR"

One of three random aircraft will spawn at one of four zones, and follow a random route.

Want five bogeys? Hit that five times. It never runs out.

In the ME, you can change the type of a/c (bogey1, bogey2, bogey3) skill, how they are armed, and where the zones are. Don't change the names of ANY of the groups. They are relied on in the MOOSE script.

If you decide try it out, let me know how you like it.

Thanks to Sven and the team for the work they do on MOOSE to make cool stuff possible really easy like this.

Thanks fargo007 for the mission. I edited it to fly with my F5-E. Thankfully the map shows where the bandit is because the F5 radar doesn't work too well (or I don't know how to use it!) and the bandit didn't show any interest in finding or engaging me until I overshot it and went across its nose. Enjoyable nonetheless!

SITUATION

Intelligence obtained from yesterday’s defector indicates that Dreamland not only possesses three air delivered atomic weapons, but actually intends to use them against Cordovian targets in a raid this morning.

It is imperative that we destroy the Cordovian nuclear capability prior to them using it against us.

The weapons are currently stored in a hardened ammunition bunker at the Pahute Mesa airfield. Specially equipped MiG-21s are scheduled to land there at 06:00 and re-arm with these three warheads. Our plan is to take out this hangar at first light.

The USMC will assist the Cordovian Military in destroying this capability of Dreamland's.

OPERATION BACKGROUND

We will launch a strike against the Pahute Mesa Airfield ammunition bunker at 04:30 this morning with one flight of USMC AV-8Bs and one flight of Cordovian F-5Es.. They will ingress to the target at low level from two separate directions, hopefully taking the enemy by surprise. As the target is heavily defended, it is critical that all elements of the strike hit their timing points and nail their airspeeds in order to arrive over the target area at the same time. A delay in time over target or mis-step of any kind may result in disaster.

The strike packages will fly “ZIP LIP”, meaning no contact with air traffic control and no contact with WIZARD. Low level operations are imperative as well, so stay below 7000 enroute to Marshal, and fly nap of the earth at push time.

Hopefully these tactics will enable us to sneak west and attack the bunker without being detected.

A separate flight of 4 F-5Es will launch a diversionary probe of R4808 airspace from the east, hopefully drawing the attention and fire of the Dreamland Defense forces away from Pahute Mesa. This flight will launch prior to the strikers, and use radio and radars for maximum visibility.

The Cordovian Army also has launched a pair of scout helicopters, callsign Springfield to destroy the SA-6 radar on the airfield just prior to our strike.

M2000c Mission: French Red Flag

I'm attaching a mission titled French Red Flag. You are tasked with flying BARCAP for Blue Force attackers.

Read the Situation and Blue Force notes in the briefing for details.

This is a pretty basic mission that I made and I think it is lots of fun. Lots of Mig-29's to kill, other flights doing their thing, tanker (if needed) and good scenery. I can usually survive 50% of the time and that is only with icons on. I'm psyched to hear of somebody surviving without icons.

Give it a shot and let me know what you think. I'm not opposed to changes being made to this mission I only ask to be mentioned as the original creator.

Best and enjoy!

-Climber

*edit* Something I just realized that I left out of the mission notes. Texaco is on TACAN 11Y ....I knew I had forgotten something....

Operation Opera- Now with F-16

Operation Opera MP Mission

This mission replicates the infamous 1981 strike on the Osirak Facility by the Israeli Air Force, dubbed Operation Opera. I did significant research on the raid to replicate it as closely as I can within DCS. This mission replicates the real-life aircraft, weapons load-outs, route, distance, and defenses around the Osirak Facility.

NTTR - Nevada SP/MP Red Flag Template - NO MODS https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3335725/

Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas and the NTTR:

Choose from over 800 targets in original locations from previous Red Flag and other training exercises (not depicting a specific one). Most have an active JTAC providing laser and smoke designation. Find your nearest JTAC via the COMM menu and further relevant information for exit/entry corridors, AAR and no fly zones on the F10-map and in the kneeboards.
You have the choice of the most played modules as of May 2024. Possibility to switch to four different day/weather cycles via the #COMM menu: 1. Clean (no wind, no clouds) / 2. Day (little wind, medium & high clouds) / 3. Night (little wind, few & high clouds) / 4. IFR (a lot of wind, many low clouds).

Enjoy and hit me up with any issues 🙂

Hey guys. I created a small mission. You have to fight moving ground targets in R-62A & R-62B. On the Dog Bone Lake there is or was a range that is or was specially designed for moving targets. HSMT (High-Speed Moving Target). I found this interesting and developed the mission.

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3342263/  I had to take the mission down again. I'll rework a few things. This was important to me. Thanks to everyone who made a flight and had fun with it.

Really nice practice mission. Thank you. I wish there were more missions like this aiming for both immersion and practicing.

Coms VOs are not 100% brevity correct but good enough.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I will probably do a few more missions. I'd like to build another one that includes the Urban Operations Complex at the southern end of Dog Bone Lake.

Yes, realism is one of those things. I wanted it to be realistic but also easy to understand for beginners. A mixture. Of course, it also plays a big role that I only know real procedures and Brevity from the “Internet and Books” and not from pilots, controllers or JTACS, etc.

Great, I would certainly play more. Thanks for doing it for the community.

Ask ChatGPT to generate brevity and coms, it is actually pretty decent for most of the stuff.
