Good fun, had a great time! Bought the 109 for this. Thanks for making it worth it.

A few bugs to work out:

1. Get the Fw 190 out of the hangars. It causes them to explode on spawn it seems. A lot of players who only had the 190 weren't able fly thanks to this.

2. Kutaisi, Senaki, Kobuleti, and Batumi kept reverting back to Bluefor after server restart even though Redfor had owned (spawned from) them for hours. This set us back greatly because we would be pushed back to Sukumi even though we had just owned 3 of the 4 airfields.

3. The above fields wouldn't repair past 20% due to some impossible to kill P-51 intercept spawning inside a hangar which made it extremely difficult to find. This happened at Guduata too.

Well done Reds :)

Had some good fun on the missions, although didn't get on as much as I would have liked.

But yes, Blue often out numbered heavily made it quite interesting :D

I've a couple of shortish videos here with some of the action;

I also want to thank you guys for organizing the event. It was great fun and I'm glad to have been able to fly the WW2 machines in something more complex than the usual airquake

My Humble thoughts about whole round.

I think T Is DEFINITELY FOR TROUBLE

I think P-51 is superior to FW-190 and BF-109. (At least in given environment)

I agree that BLUE was outnumbered most of the time.

I also will try to remember all guys who was pain in the ass for us ( SAburo, Nirvi, danjo, *gsbp* guys, xcom**** I don't remember them all but I will continue this list if I recall more :D )

I enjoy this campaign, it helps me to look deeper in the WWII aircrafts again - also when the map not suit perfect the WWII aircrafts - with the upcoming Spitfire and Normandy map it could be a new advantage in the future.

Thanks to all admins, builder, supporter and player (on both sides :music_whistling: ) of BuddySpike.

Hopefully, we see MiG-15 vs. F-86F in the next campaign round...

L-39 jets are spawning on fire in Hangars.

I wonder if it's related?

My first experience in taking part in an event like this, right at the end of the campaign. 10/10. Would join again :)

I was a bit dreaded to join all by myself, but everyone was really cool at the TS and rather tolerant of my noobiness.

At one point I was wondering why my bombs didn't seem to hit or even detonate and the bomb lights were acting all weird, until I noticed that in addition to my joystick, I had my throttle TS button also assigned to "drop ordinance", so every time I talked to my team mates, I was dropping 50 kg bombs and had usually ran out of them before I got to the target...

Korea will probably be the opposite - Blue will have lots of guns & ammo & radar & rockets while red will have .... well... nothing fancy except vodka and courage.

LOL LazzySeal, I was thinking the exact same thing! One of the most dangerous gun setups in DCS!

It is. But Wolf has a point, Sabre is more advanced technologicallyin terms of avionics, G-suit, radar for guns...

MiG-15 has more powerfull climb rate, but in turn fight Sabre must be better.
