I know if I have the control position indicator open the lines turn white when auto hover is engaged. Is there a indication in the cockpit (green light or something) that auto hover is working so the control positioner does not have to be used?

Thanks

Haven't seen it on any list...but might be something to ask for in the enhancement thread.

**Moderator, please stick ***

So this thread is to keep track of things that you guys are asking for that would be nice to add in future updates. Keep in mind that while you can ask for anything, only those things that realistic will be done. So looking at all your thread so far here's the list that I can see:

Will sort at some point.

Commander: Make commander's animation more human, less creepy

Commander: Have the option of having no Commander in the seat

Force Feed Back: Add the ability to use Force Feed Back Joysticks

Weapons: Add Guns, Rockets, Mistral, and sharks with lasers on them.

Skin: Release Skin template.

Doors: add ability to open and close then by clicking

Tutorial video: turn on all system including countermeasures.

Model: A civil model without Vivian system

Buttons: implement missing buttons like Hyd test

Manuals: Finish them and add checklists

Pilots: UK uniforms

Pilots: Ejectable

Pilots: Skin Template

Special: Rudder Trim

ADI: add more texturing

TV: key assignment for on/off

Logbook: add functionality

Pilots: Add gas effect if flying backwards to long

Auto-Hover: Add ability to use rudders

Skis: 1980's Iraqi skin

TV: rotaries assignment for brightness/contrast

cockpit: UK or English version

Cockpit: reduce cockpit vibrations

model: add cargo hook and hoist option

pilot: knee board for virtual pilot

Auto-Hover: Indicate when it's on with a lamp

Windows: ability to open and close windows

Weapons: have machine gunners

Misc: Add passengers

If I missed something, add it below and I'll add it to this list. We'll try to have periodical updates to let you know progress on them.

Does the real Gazelle have such an indicator light? (or does it even have the auto-hover and auto-turn functions?) Or are those things included merely for gameplay until multicrew is available?

Touche.....I blame my migraine for my lack of remembering.

As far as I know, and will have to confer with the real pilot on this, auto-hover does exist on the Gazelle, but there is not indicator for it. I would assume it something they would feel when activating it from the cyclic. I heard rumors that on hover check they activate it to make sure it's working before taking off as well. So I always do the same.

The only difference (again from my understanding) is that the collective part isn't in the auto-hover, just the cyclic. But for the same of the simulator and since we want people to enjoy the commander slot we added it. In the future when multi-crew is added and in use that might go away. We'll always have the current auto-hover for when your play single player though.

Getting familiar with this bird, & reading Chuck's excellent guide. I just watch the "torque indicator" for when it spikes. Edited by bobd

I dont think, certain autopilot like the UH would be cheating. Real life you can pass the controls to other person. You check your maps, call your wife, smoke... Whatever in RL happen!

^^ that's what Slave is for

over ride roll (x axis) so you can jink left or right in a hover would be more advantageous to dodge incoming fire / missiles

so jink and collective to straff left or right & up or down

You might not want to use the camera to yaw. While slave is off, you should be able to use normal rudder inputs.
