tusler Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I know if I have the control position indicator open the lines turn white when auto hover is engaged. Is there a indication in the cockpit (green light or something) that auto hover is working so the control positioner does not have to be used? Mt5_Roie Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Haven't seen it on any list...but might be something to ask for in the enhancement thread. It will be in an update. Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
Flagrum Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Haven't seen it on any list...but might be something to ask for in the enhancement thread. **Moderator, please stick *** So this thread is to keep track of things that you guys are asking for that would be nice to add in future updates. wolle Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Haven't seen it on any list...but might be something to ask for in the enhancement thread. Does the real Gazelle have such an indicator light? (or does it even have the auto-hover and auto-turn functions?) Or are those things included merely for gameplay until multicrew is available? Mt5_Roie Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Touche.....I blame my migraine for my lack of remembering. As far as I know, and will have to confer with the real pilot on this, auto-hover does exist on the Gazelle, but there is not indicator for it. I would assume it something they would feel when activating it from the cyclic. I heard rumors that on hover check they activate it to make sure it's working before taking off as well. So I always do the same. The only difference (again from my understanding) is that the collective part isn't in the auto-hover, just the cyclic. But for the same of the simulator and since we want people to enjoy the commander slot we added it. In the future when multi-crew is added and in use that might go away. We'll always have the current auto-hover for when your play single player though. :smartass: Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
OldE24 Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 what about an auto pilot that you can override with stick inputs? as you would be able too... 8700k@4.7 32GB ram, 1080TI hybrid SC2

ESAc_matador Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I dont think, certain autopilot like the UH would be cheating. Real life you can pass the controls to other person. You check your maps, call your wife, smoke... Whatever in RL happen!
112th_Rossi Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Being able to over-ride rudder inputs while in auto hover would be good too.
Dingo_Bob Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) ^^ that's what Slave is for over ride roll (x axis) so you can jink left or right in a hover would be more advantageous to dodge incoming fire / missiles so jink and collective to straff left or right & up or down Edited May 19, 2016 by Dingo_Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5

While slave is off, you should be able to use normal rudder inputs.
