what a great video, this is the first time i have seen actual lfootage of those bombs that have a parachute and then fire towards the ground.

love how they seperate from the main bomb housing with such uniformity.

 

sorry i have no idea of the name but are these the bombs that trick sam guys into turning their radars back on after the planes are gone, and therefor telling the parachuting bombs where they (the sams) are?

 

either way, it a good vid and i for one appreciate your efforts, both in sharing and in adding the soundtrack, its pretty smooth also.

 

some early test footage aswell, could watch this stuff all day.

No, they're sensor-fuzed anti-armour submunitions like the American BAT. The name of Russian weapon escapes me at present too though ;)

 

What you're thinking of is probably the British ALARM missile (which should've been called Damocles, really :D ).
