huzar Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) Everyone knows that Su-25T is fun to fly:thumbup: When I started to learn it I begun to collect all relevant info, but it is all over the place and quite a lot of it is outdated. So here is my effort to put all of it in one place: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2101898/ Should be usefull not only for beginners. All comments are welcomed :smilewink: Link to dropbox download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/78eh74yg5gy179b/Su-25T%20Essentials%20v01.pdf?dl=0 and word version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6blgek3akqpcsg1/Su-25T%20Essentials.docx?dl=0 . huzar Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 my MS Word 2016 loads PDF's to edit? I didn't know it can do it, tried it on couple of pdfs and actually it works quite well. Here is the guide in doc format. Let me know if you spot any mistakes, eventually I want to upload it to DCS download section.
Fish Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Many thanks. I was going to merge my notes with it, but it covers everything, so gonna user yours from now on. And so clearly formatted..... Rudel_chw Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Here is the guide in doc format. Thanks a lot, this makes easier to adapt it to work with my native language keyboard, because several keyboard shortcuts are actually different on our keyboards; for example the "Next Waypoint" key is LCtrl + ' on english keyboards, but is LCtrl + º on my latin-american keyboard :) Thanks again, I like your document style much better than my own, so I will adapt it to my needs and then put it on the kneeboard. :D For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
life_rocks Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Thank you very much! This taught me something I hadn't caught in the manual!
Mike5560 Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Very handy user guide. One correction, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the FAB- series general purpose bombs are indicated in kilograms, so a FAB-250 is a little over 500lb.
huzar Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Very handy user guide. One correction, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the FAB- series general purpose bombs are indicated in kilograms, so a FAB-250 is a little over 500lb. That's correct, FAB-250 weights about 250kg out of which 120kg is an explosive material. huzar Posted October 3, 2016 Author Posted October 3, 2016 Thanks guys, I'm glad it is useful
Bahnzo Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Thanks guys, I'm glad it is useful  It's very useful. I'm just getting back into flying, and decided on DCS and this little guide has been invaluable to helping me ease back into the sim combat cockpit. The weapons loadout table at the end is proving to be especially useful. It's so hard to memorize all the different types (and the SU-25 seems to have many similar named/numbered munitions) and the table really saves a ton of time. Good job and thanks.
Haukka81 Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 BUMB for this, really nice Oculus CV1, Odyssey, Pimax 5k+ (i5 8400, 24gb ddr4 3000mhz, 1080Ti OC ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
