Eclipse Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Can we please have the ability to tweak FOV without needing to edit LUA script files? As someone who just upgraded to triple monitors, I can tell you how big a deal this is. It was a very frustrating few days of trying to find a solution. It was so bad I almost gave up on it. To me, it is a glaring oversight in an otherwise incredible sim experience. i7-9700k overclocked to 4.9ghz, RTX 2070 Super, 32GB RAM, M.2 NVMe drive, HP Reverb G2 version 2, CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals, and a Logitech Throttle Quadrant
Cavemanhead Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Agreed. A simple slider to adjust FOV at startup would be awesome.

MikeMikeJuliet Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Great idea. And at the same time get rid of the zoom-out that happens in the beginning of a flight. DCS Finland | SF squadron
MikeMikeJuliet Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Graphics options menu needs a re-design. Indeed. DCS Finland | SF squadron
Crash * Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 It´s a great idea. Outzooming at start is very annoying. SharpeXB Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Great idea. Many games have an FOV slider. In DCS the only way to limit your wide FOV is with an lua or in the controls response screen. Both methods have issues. The default wide FOV is set for triple screens I imagine. It's not very friendly for most. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
MikeMikeJuliet Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 The more options, the better users can tailor the sim to their liking, and to run properly on their PC. I hate to say it, but DCS has a rather poor graphics options menu altogether. DCS Finland | SF squadron

Pikey Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 There is a massive amount of people that ask for multimonitor help in general and any and every improvement in this area would be good for so many. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
