DCS: F-5E Tiger II Skin Contest

One of the great things we love about the Tiger II is the numerous and beautiful ways in which the aircraft has been painted over the years. Not just the various country operators, but the many creative ways in which it has been painted as an aggressor aircraft.

Based on this and our highly-talented community of skin artist, we are offering a new contest: paint the Tiger II!

Here are some of the requirements and details:

The skin must be created using this template: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/texture_templates/f-5e_template/
The skin can be historically accurate or fictional. However, the skin must be associated with one of the countries currently present in DCS World.

Please upload completed skins to this topic.

The best skins will be integrated into the DCS: F-5E Tiger II module in the game along with your credits.

All winners will get valuable gifts: one key for any module in DCS World of your choice.

The contest will run until 28 October 2016.

Another skin for the contest:

This is the real model:

This was an F-5 A/B M. painted specially for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the wing 23 (School Reactors) at the airbase of Talavera la Real.

The plane was lost in accident on April 30, 2003 during the trial of the exhibition to be held May 11 to commemorate the 50th anniversary , resulting on the death of his pilot , Captain Manuel Rivera Hernandez.

So here is my first one (assuming I can upload more than one skin). I hadn't posted for so long because I was waiting for a reply to one of my questions of whether or not we could upload multiple skins, but I never got a clear reply.

Anyways :) here is the origin of my skin.......

Well this is my first repaint. Shin Kazama's legendary F-5E Area 88. All the best to everyone else.:thumbup: I'll be making more (assuming we can enter more in the contest)

Knowing where my paintscheme is from, I would prefer it to be part of a Mercinary faction which is not there in DCS lol, so it's part of the US instead.

-Do Liveries need to be done for the contest or can users post previously released skins?

For my initial submission is Ferris schemed TopGun F-5E.

"41"'s scheme was designed by aviation artist Keith Ferris with Cdr C J Heatley. It flew in the mid 1980's.

It has a false cockpit painted underneath in an attempt to confuse opponents as to the aircraft's true attitude.

It wore no national insignia.

So, here's my entry for the contest. A fictional skin for the Danish airforce, based around the 70-80's. Made two variantso, one standard, and one with some tailart.
