=Andre= Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 just to make sure, and asking for a friend. in order to have DCS use aviators to output audio to a bass shaker, is SIMSHAKER SOUND MODULE for RUB 1 700.00? Yes, I think so. Gametrix JetSeats thread (in English) , SimShaker addon for bass-shakers thread (in English), Andre's blog, downloads, manuals (in English). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
=Andre= Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 Recently got this add on and love it. Still tweaking the sound files to work well with the dynamic range of my home made drivers. I do have one stupid question though. How do I have permanently raise the volume setting? Every time I start DCS (and thus simshaker) the volume reverts to 50%. The volume of what? fredclan Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 simshaker crash For me, I would say there is a 75% chance Simshaker/Soundmodule will send signal to my buttkicker at startup, and a 95% chance it will quit sometime during a session. I've tried beta, non beta, any airplane, just quits at the worst time and I have to restart it. its not an overheat issue, restarts right away. Fails no matter what and has been this way for the entire year ive been using it. Any suggestions?
Hotdognz Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Hi guys I have SimShaker for IL2 along with the Sound module that was need for it to work with a Butt Kicker 2 and it works great. Im now interested in getting my Butt Kicker 2 working in DCS and was going to purchase the Aviator software, from what I can see it uses the same Sound module software that SimShaker uses, can I use my existing Sound Module of do I have to re purchase a second cop. Cheers
Jvector70 Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 You should be good so long as you have Aviator installed and purchased the sound module. Send Andre a message in case you need anything else, He’s always helpful

Shadow912 Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Hi Guys, I'm looking for a little help. I fly with the Realteus seat and quite regularly I fly the F5-E Tiger. I have a problem that when I extend the nose leg strut (which is a necessity for take-off in the F5-E) I get some vibration but the vibration never goes away. Even after landing the jet and shutting down the engines I still have the vibration. I can only get rid by restarting the the output mode on the service menu in SimShaker for aviators. (I am running SimShaker Beta V 1.3.10.0 and DCS V2.5.6 Open Beta). Hope you can help? Shadow912 Sinclair ZX81 - 1K RAM - 16K Wobbly Ram Pack - Tape Drive - Kempston Joystick :helpsmilie:

tapi Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) Why would you have all effects on the same strength? The idea is, that different effects have different strengths, as in real life.. No no you misunderstood me. I have my effects set each differently, I do not mean the difference between effects. I mean relative strength of the whole set of effects. I use VoiceMeeter. When I move volume slider of output to the ButtKicker, ALL effects are stronger but each is still different according to the strength set in SimShaker for Aviators. The same influence on ALL effects has the volume knob on the buttlicker. So whenever I powered ON my PC and Turned ON ButtKicker I needed to fiddle with volume settings for Buttkicker and/or with volume settings of VoiceMeeter to achieve the desired strength of my set of effects. I wanted to avoid that and instead have a simple way to set the same relative level of effects every time I Power ON my PC... So I did this: 1) set Windows master volume to 75% 2) set volume of HRADWARE OUT in VoiceMeeter to the exact value (in my case -25) 3) set volume knob on Buttkicker to max 4) Set DCS volume to 50% 5) now I tuned volumes for individual Effect Setting for the Aircrafts in DCS. The above steps ensure the same relative volume of effects. The only thing I need now is to set Buttkicker Volume to 100% every time I start PC and sim. But unfortunately having Buttkicker volume set to 100% is obviously not desirable.... Problem si that Buttkicker volume cannot be set precisely, there are only + and - buttons... Precisely can be set only the min or max volume. Edited May 15, 2020 by tapi Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast! N22YF Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 Flanker flaps movement blipping I have an issue where when I fly the Su-27, Su-33, or J-11, the "Flaps Movement" effect is continuously blipping, which is very annoying. I haven't noticed this with any other aircraft. I'm running DCS stable 2.5.5.41371.1. Is way to solve this issue? Here's a demonstration: Thanks!

Btw: https://trello.com/b/FBylS13r/simshaker-development Thank you! As far as I can tell, this issue seems pretty constant throughout flight and does not seem to be related to what the aircraft is doing (AoA, Gs, etc.), so I wouldn't expect it to be correlated with slats actuation.
