I was told that this model is not final. Therefore, talking about mistakes is premature.

 

it is surely a very good initiative when somebody official is interested and doublecheck the work in progress.

 

i hope to see more news soon and the flogger in dcs.

Allow me to help by pointing out only the most obvious, visible-from-the-moon errors, look at image in post #81

 

The windshield and canopy are like 20% too tall, air intakes are like 10% too tall and are not tilted down. The air intakes on the real aircraft are tilted down 3 deg. Ejection seat headrest is a complete joke. Ventral fin is inaccurate.

 

I'm not sure if you know that Skylark's drawing is made by measuring the real aircraft, so everything you see there is accurate to the last mm.

 

Also, nice try with your attempt with overimposing Skylark's drawing on your model showing "perfect match". I appreciate the honesty :thumbup:

I also model things by measuring myself the real thing as i worked with it for a few years.

I have been talking with Skylark to get the better drawings with the better scale possible for the new model. Of course he is wright in everything. I just found it so funny that he appeared suddenly like a ninja from a smoke bomb and started to directly use words like "everything wrong", "unconvincing", "many errors" that I was playing the stuborn one just for fun. Now, let me work.

hehe, i understand what you mean. therefore i asked skylark to provide more details. your model is great, the best i have seen so far and i would live with some inaccurateness without problems, because everything somebody tries is better then getting no flogger mod or modul.

 

but skylark is right, the drawing speaks themselves.

but cool, that you are getting in touch and sharing sources and information.

i am sure, at the end we will get the perfect flogger!

Mig 23 is almost completely the same as mig 21 in cockpit and the mig 19 is also pretty much the same as the 15 i prefer them doing a F-4 phantom or A-7

I do esteem Flogger neither to come soon, nor to come anyway. Yes, the genine optimism it is. How could it have been forgotten and came alive only recemtly? Was it too ugly/unsuccessfull? Do speed up the Flogger design! Let the-19th be suspended should it go as that)

Well in real life its diffrent but in dcs if you have a mig 21 you can fly a 23
