BitMaster Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Apperently, as a Cisco tech found out by pure accident, Piriform's CCleaner Version 5.33 has been infected with Malware on the original vendor's website. grunf Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 How do I tell which version I have! MJ The version is shown on the top left corner of the CCleaner window. If you don't want to run it, hover the mouse over the ccleaner.exe file (not the desktop shortcut, but the .exe itself).

hsth Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 I ran Malwarebytes in 64 bit version 533 and got this: "Trojan.Floxif, C:\PROGRAM FILES\CCLEANER\CCLEANER.EXE, Quarantined, [8820], [436381],1.0.2839." Uninstalled ccleaner and now back on version 5.32.
