the Su-25T Avionics w/ Su-33 PFM and Pit might not be possible this time around.

As a total noob on this topic, may I ask why?

It just depends on if things have changed DLL and Cockpit Naming wise for viewports since early 1.2.x builds.

Update:

-Still working on cleaning up orphaned texture maps, it might not be visible in screenshots,

But the orphaned files are very present when loading the model in both 3D Studio max and DCS (the orphaned textures will show in the dcs.log).

I was otherwise occupied this weekend and unable to work on the project.

But for an example, there was originally 22 orphaned texture files, and I've been mesh by mesh clearing them out and I'm down to 16, but have a lot of meshes to go.

Once those are fixed,

-I'll start making minor adjustments to model shape,

-continue converting animations to the New ID's,

-continue developing new animations,

-wipe and re-do aircraft numbers and animations

-wipe country decals (move to textures).

-adjust light mesh textures

-integrate new lights

-begin creating RoughMet Maps,

Once everything is done 3D model wise, I'll begin replacing placeholder LUAs with Su-30 Specific LUAs

Sorry for the lack of updates on projects recently, Personal / Family Matters have been taking Priority lately.

-DCS Updater, Core coding is being adjusted to try and eliminate some exception crashes, while under the hood scanning of modules has also had a global adjustment, and some major condensing/cleaning to further streamline adding new functions.

-F/A-18 Super Hornets, Still Rendering High Resolution A.O. Maps, and Tweaking those, then moving to Roughness/Metallic Maps, guides for those will be posted as well

-Su-30 MKI/M2, Once I Finish Some things on the Hornet, I will Finish Converting the model to PBR w/ High Res A.O. Maps as well as RoughMet Maps, and then finish animations to the new DCS World Standard from the old FC2 Standard.

I'm just renovating a model to work with new DCS,

Not sure if it's up to me to even look into integrating into DCSW.

Well if its not up to you , maybe ED knocks on your door ?!!

I hope they -at least - think about it...

its a big surplus to DCS, so why not just doing it ?

license / artwork 3rd party issue ? I m sure there is a solution ..

Just visiting the forum after a long time, searched for Su-30 and saw this post. Awesome work Skate.

About the messy condition of the model, I am not sure but might be me as this was just my hobby and didnt know anything about how things are done professionally.

So, thanks for the work that you are putting in and keeping the model updated.

Regards,

CombatAce

First Off, Apologies for lack of updates, or even some eye candy.

I've been busy with work + other projects at the moment.

Plans have not changed, as soon as I get extra free time again, I will resume re-vamping the model and getting it up to today's standards.

this includes:

-Converting all textures to Composite Materials, removing EXTRA Materials.

-Deleting the extra damage meshes, Converting to Current Damage Animation Setup

-Cutting Meshes for Current Damage Animations.

-PBR Roughness/Metallic maps w/ A.O.

-Updated Animations to Current DCS Standards,

-Updated Connection Points for Pylons, Effects Etc

-Updated Lighting (Textures and Actual Lights)

-Completely Re-Written LUA Code to today's standard.

Hello, everybody! I'm new here, and I've read the entire thread. It looks absolutely incredible! Any updates or pictures? I'd love to learn more. I especially like the Su-30SM/MKI, and I like the way you've used the HDD as a mini-version of the Su-25T's Shkval for air-to-ground. I'd love to see more!

Wow! Gizmondo, that's awesome! I really like it! Andrey134, that stuff's cool, to. Where'd you get it? I love the Su-30MKI!

As I said, I love this! You can even see that it's the Su-30MKI "Flanker-H", not the Su-30SM "Flanker-C", because it's got the IAF's markings on it (actually, I'm just assuming they're IAF, because they're not Russian :smilewink:; they do look Indian, though).

It's Not indian I am Algerian , and this is a SU-30MKA (A stands for ALGERIA) -__-

I am working on the template , when it is finished i will make the other skins, MKA BLUE, SM VVS, SM VKS, MKM ,MKI etc...
