I get to use them all :)

The point is not every update is going to contain fixes, there are often reasons for this we can not go into in public.

Some have taken the message from another dev about 1.5.8 to mean it would be the next update, when clearly this is still 1.5.7.

Rest assured that the fixes mentioned are coming, even if they were not possible in this build.

We could have had a chance today to look into M2000C update/upgrade before the AV8B release, and may be also to considere the AV8B preorder aswell.

This neverending waiting and delaying is going to be really boring.

Just a suggestion.

Before asking us to be patientes, please define to yourself first the concept of "patience", because in this way is a joke.

Wait! What kind of delay are we talking about?

Harrier is to be released "in the last days of November" and if my math is right, we still have 8 days left. M-2000C's update was said to be in Version 1.5.8, wich was never given a release date.

I don't see where your "delay" is...

So do I: I own all modules except for Combined Arms and the C-101.

That doesn't mean though that I don't have a favourite, or don't want to stick to 1 specific module 95% of the time...

Releasing the Mirage fixes and the Harrier on the same day is what I would call 'poor planning'.

I call it a great update for everyone and good planning. A lot of new and fixed things that people can play around with for a long time. Everything is included in one update so that no other update is required in the next year and we have access to it as fast as possible.

How is that poor planning? I own every module and I see this as good planning as it means they are maximizing their use of the patch: to deliver new content (Harrier) and updates to the Mirage. That sounds awesome to me!

Mirage is by far my favorite module (and I think the Harrier will be a close second) and they are not making everyone unhappy either. ;)

Not all the M2000C howners have preordered the AV8B, me included.

Release M2000C update/upgrade in advance, would have been a better "marketing" choice for AV8B itself.

It's fine as it is, no problem.

Zeus said last week that, due to unforseen issues they were not able to push their changes to the ED servers for last weeks patch. I think, he also said that it would be in the next patch - which would have been todays patch as the first opportunity. And next week, for the 29th, would be the next "official" one.

And now you are implying that it is more feasible to assume that that will also not happen? Oh well, I guess, we will see ...

Zeus said that they will push the new FM in next update and after that that it will not happened due to a problem. He never said it will be push to the next one or the next next one or ....

I am not implying anything, I am just saying that he never said next week or in the 1.5.8.

From Zeus' posting last week (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=195997):

For the week 2017-11-13 to 2017-11-17:

We are experiencing some difficulties with an update to the liveries. Unfortunately this problem will prevent us from releasing all the other updates since it is quite hard to extricate the broken liveries from the update package.

So, this update will be delayed to the next.

Well, to me this reads (at minimum) like "it will go live at the next possible opportunity". Ok, didn't happen today - we are getting used to things like that. But I refuse to deduce from that, that any expectation is "obviously" not viable.

Why do you as a customer have to care about the developers marketing plan?

To me there is absolutely no mistake or disadvantage that we will get a single update with a lot of content.

People want updates that are at least worth having their time to spend on looking what made it into the changelog and others define ED's/RAZBAM updates "poor" because they don't like their marketing planning and schedule on modules releases.

Because when I buy something, I not only look at what it is I want to buy, but I also look at whom I buy it from: reliability, reputation, communication, ... Things like that. Counts for everything in life, including but not limited to DCS modules.

Because when a customer bought a product two years ago full of promise and has nothing but a flying brick after two years just because of an other product in development, I think he can care about the developers marketing plan.

The Mirage is nowhere near a flying brick. A Gulfstream 2 with it's landing gear down and engines in reverse, thats a flying brick. And in case of Razbam, they have been active with their updates/patches, have gone through multiple FM revisions and also communicate with their custumers more than some other Devs around here. Yes, we pay a lot for those Modules and yes, we need a lot of patience in order to wait for updates. But in the end, it doesn't matter because you had fun during those two years. I can tell because you are still around.

I won't consider the Harrier until I've evaluated the Mirage 2000C updates. Like many others.
