A bit tired of talking about the same old planes so I decided to refresh the forums with something different. Certain countries have made their own fighters modifying designs from stablished airpower designers.

 

heres the contenders:

Im preferring the Chinese J-10 because chinese mentality is to copy the stuff from others and maybe refine frome there on. So when chinese copy stuff - hey, it must be worth it :D

FCK-1A, because it looks awesome from the front, and from the side (only the cockpit section + inkates). If only it got good engines, then it would be a really cool plane. BTW, your photo is of the ugly paintscheme, just give us a photo from the front, in plain boring grey, that way the fck-1a/b looks the best

Chosen the japanese F-2 because IMHO is the only copycat thats even better than the original...and lets admit it: Its by far the most good looking of them all! :D

Pakistan still wants it, and I think china wanted the Fc-1 just for export. Theres huge amounts of Mig-21's in need of replacement for another el cheapo fighter all over the world.

I voted for J-10 but it is not really a "light" aircraft. I think however the aircraft is a meaningful contribution to military aviation, since it brings offensive power for an affordable price.

Oh, I know. Still, I doubt that there is much going on the the Chinese aerospace industry. Looking at the past, what was the last semi-excellent example of aircraft engineering to come out of China? I dont think the J-10 is half that the Chinese are cracking it up to be. Not a blind eye, just a rational thought. The whole commie thing just doesn't help. My opinion.

ahhh the ching kuo... bleh, the thing is so damn ugly.... but yeah the Kuo is probably better than the FC-1.

Ugly because you've seen the demo paint, it sucks ass, the service colors make it pretty, the nose however is ugly.

the nose, the LERX'es and intakes and the rear section looks like a halft swated roach. No matter the paint it will still look ugly to me.

F-CK-1A/B look the best, they have those cool intakes, sure the nose blows, but the two nozzles sticking out compensate for that. It looks like a Rafale from an other dimension

I choose J10 because till now it is the best and most beautiful fighter China ever made.

 

F-2 looks good, but I really don't know too much about other than it is based on F16.
