muehlema
Hi I got a very strange issue. I recently shot down 4 P51 with my BF109. They don't get added to my logbook. The pilot could bailout. I see that if I fly the F5E, then the kills are added. Any idea? muehlema
I found that it is mission dependant For testing I created a mission myself. BF109 + a Fieseler Storch as target aircraft Kill is added. Went back to the other mission with dynamic elements. Killed 2 P51, confirmed by debrief, not added to the BF109 logbook kills. So the issue is with this mission. No idea what reason. dolfo
For me, in any mission, no points/kills get added if I do land the airplane before quitting the mission, even though the debriefing screen shows the correct numbers. Flight time registers fine. If I exit the mission before landing everything is recorded correctly. Would be understandable if it was the other way around. msalama
The logbook has been broken for years. It hasn't, for example, ever recorded any online kills either properly or at all. SP kills, however, do seem to register OK, at least on my end. I'm running the latest openbeta. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of. muehlema
Thats the test I did setup. Fly it, kill the Storch and you will not see any kill added if you land. muehlema
Just did a retest 1/1 shot down in debriefing, no kill added to log. The time was added and the landing too. Sadly not the kills. I have tons of sorties which i have done and now a realized that none of the kills were added. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 14, 2018 ED Team Share Posted May 14, 2018 Hi sorry I have just realised, it maybe due to the user mod, I do not have this mod so can not test this mission. if you test against ED only aircraft it should work. muehlema
Negative. If I shoot down a Spitfire in my ME109 the same happens. I land, no count You can take the F5E, then a ME109 in front of you and guess what, you shoot it down and land, the kill will not count Edited May 14, 2018 by muehlema X-Plane 11.5x / DCS 2.5.6 / P3Dv5 / Aerofly FS 2 / War Thunder Win10-x64 | ASUS Z390 Maximus VI | Intel i7-9700K @3.6GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | 2TB M2 PCI 4x | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift S
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 15, 2018 ED Team Share Posted May 15, 2018 I have just tried to reproduce and it seems ok for me, I had one kill then landed and checked my logbook. Kill was registered it maybe worth removing any unofficial mods and running a cleanup and repair to see if it makes a difference. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? muehlema
Are you telling me that the F5, the P51 or the Spifire are no offcial mods? I already said that I can reproduce it with those aircrafts too. Like I have mentioned I tried to reproduce and it was fine for me. edit: just tested again with the f-5 this time, all ok for me Edited May 15, 2018 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? muehlema
Today I took the opportunity to do a vanilla installation of the latest beta. It is even worse. I got on a ride with the F-18 and no time is being recorded, at all. I did even test with a complete new logbook.lua. No luck X-Plane 11.5x / DCS 2.5.6 / P3Dv5 / Aerofly FS 2 / War Thunder Win10-x64 | ASUS Z390 Maximus VI | Intel i7-9700K @3.6GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | 2TB M2 PCI 4x | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift S
muehlema
Still testing out the scenarios. The last update does no longer record the kills or the time on the individual module. Interestingly, my flightime on the F18 is being added to the overall flighttime and kills too. Have a look at my logbook. I created a new one. It would not even add an F18 record. I added it manually to try to fix the issue. Debrief log has another name for the F18 module In order to show the F18 times in log view, the name of the module must be "F/A-18C" otherwise the log will show ZERO on the F18 log page. In the debrief log you can read that I have flown with module "FA-18C_hornet" I thought to myself, just change it in the logbook.lua. No luck. as stated above. To show any value, it must be called F/A-18C"logbook.lualogbook.txtdebrief.txt Edited May 31, 2018 by muehlema X-Plane 11.5x / DCS 2.5.6 / P3Dv5 / Aerofly FS 2 / War Thunder Win10-x64 | ASUS Z390 Maximus VI | Intel i7-9700K @3.6GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | 2TB M2 PCI 4x | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift S

Grodin
Same problem here. Oddly, when i created new pilot it counted the kills on my first mission but not on the second. Edit: Indeed, i landed on the second try, thats why they didnt count. Funny bug this one. Edited June 14, 2018 by Grodin Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity. Tom Kazansky
1 year later, same problem. now and then... depending on mission. are there any rules which (in my case: ground) targets have to apply so they count or don't count to logbook?

Gianky
Hi there, guys! I don't know if it's related to what you're discussing, but I'm playing the Operation Piercing Fury campaign for the A-10 and I noticed that the some ground kills don't get added to the kill score in the campaign window. Bug? Same bug? EDIT: Started another campaign yesterday night, with the Tomcat, after mission 1, same issue, 2 kills credit in AAR, none recorded in the campaign window.
