Recently I was criticized for suggesting that maybe the F-5E needed some more modern upgrades to make it more survivable in combat.

In no way did I mean to criticize Belsimtek or its wonderful model.

Everyone wants realistic. Well here it is. Modernized, updated, color screens,

better weapons systems.

Can we PLEASE get an autopilot mod???

And before anyone criticizes again, at least 4 country's armed forces agree with me.

Time to update the F-5E capabilities - or at least make it possible for someone to do so...

Thanks.

Is there enough documentation available to correctly model the systems you would like to see? How about performance charts? Do we realise the handling characteristics are affected in a not so good way by the new weight and CG? Any data to properly translate that to DCS flight model? If yes then I would say go for it. If what is asked for is a very generic systems and performance model, mostly based on guesswork I would not purchase the module/upgrade.

I would prefer we get (at a fair price) things that have enough data made public, like the air-to-air refueling system and the INS.

F-20 Never went into Production, There is no Documentation or Manuals for it.

F-5E in DCS is an USAF F-5E-3 Domestic Airframe.

Not an Export Airframe, not a Thailand F-5E, not a Swiss F-5E.

Their Upgrades were done through their own programs

Adding the Export / MLU Capabilities to the Current F-5E is not possible.

it would have to be an entirely new Module, w/ an Entirely new Cockpit and systems modelling.

It has been Discussed previously and will not happen.
