The same thing happens to me, I have a center fuel tank and only after refueling a few minutes it freezes. Obviously it has to do with fuel tank this failure.

Thank you very much everyone for reporting this problem.

I have the same issue. I did some tests and I reached to the following conclusion: when you put in the wings external fuel tanks DCS freezed but this doesn´t occur when you load the center fuel tank

Same thing happened to me just now on my first AAR in the Hornet.

I had a disconnect from the basket as the tanker went into a turn, no problem there. Reconnected and when my tanks were filled, game freeze.

Last bits of my log:

Good to hear that the ED team will be working on this. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Heck, I would even go as far as to say that this is hotfix material due to its severity.

It just happened to me on my first attempt on a MP server, was refueling and right when I was expecting the basket to disconnect it froze. Had to reboot to recover...

So too early to draw conclusions as piston85 reports this issue on sp... for me so far only mp...

It happens to me with the center fuel tank, the bug is related to the fuel tanks in general.:smilewink:

One of our Testers was able to reproduce and submit a track to the team, thanks for everyone's help on this matter.

Excellent! Thanks for your patience. We were not able to provide crash logs since it was technically not a "crash".

It is, but when you have 3 tanks loaded, the freeze will happen a lot sooner into the mission.

Tonight I flew with 2 friends who both had the Hornet, and they both had to Task Manager their way out.

I didn't use a fuel tank at all tonight, and had zero issues.

sometimes it's when the belly tank is filled up

This issue is probably the same than the one reported here:

https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=210633

When I first encountered the freeze, it was indeed the very moment the belly tank got filled up. For now, fly around without external tanks until the fix has been implemented.

In my case it´s only with the wings external fuel tanks. I fly in buddyspike server with center fuel tank and I don´t have any issue with this configuration

How high do you typically fly? If you stick to lower altitudes, it takes longer for the freeze to happen but if you fly at around 25,000 feet or higher, the freeze happens much quicker.

mine freezes, and always had at least 2 eternal fuel tanks, and before then 3 ext fuel, and the freezes just keep coming at least 1 per hour... sometimes even task manager doe snot help, have to do a total reboot to get out...

I have the same issue but didn't really notice any link with the fuel tanks. I had it freeze on me with aim7 in boresight mode (like some people reported on here already), when pressing on some buttons on the EW page and upon cycling waypoints.

Same issue for me sadly.. Almost random freezes. But they occurred since i'm flying a mission with a kc-130 tanker in orbit and taking off from a carrier in gulf map.The release day i flyied for almost 3 hours without any problem in an empty gulf map. I will try to exclude something for testing.

Edit: glad to read issue was reproduced and tracked by developers.. You guys are great!

For what it's worth, and if it hasn't been reported yet:

- Took off with a centerline.

- Jettisoned the centerline.

- Hit the tanker.

- Freeze when tanks are full.

Normally my attitude it's between 25K and 35K

Just did another test flight. Deleting the metashaders seemed to allow me to fly longer. Took off with around 15 000lbs of fuel ( 2 wing tanks), got down to around 5000lbs. Did a full AAR with a KC130T and got the crash right after I got the ''transfer complete" call from the tanker and as I was retracting my probe.
