FLCV Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 (edited) After playing around with the Hornet ive realized that the cbu99/mk20 seems to be quite inaccurate in comparison to the other dumb bombs, it almost always falls a significant amount short of the ccip reticle. Is this intendet or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance :smartass: Edited May 31, 2018 by BIGNEWY TITLE
lemoen Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Had the same issue, may be something to do with barometric vs radar alt or something. Didn't try it much though. Would like to see that I did wrong.
QuiGon Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Same here. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
escaner Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Same. Mk 20 were short in a dive and long in level bombing for me. Ripple also seems to have its issues in auto at least with gp bombs. Will try further... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

sSkullZnBoneZz Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 [ALREADY REPORTED] Unable to Hit Targets with Unguided Bombs in any Mode Hey guys, I have been flying the Hornet all weekend, what a blast; anyway, I can't seem to hit anything with unguided bombs using CCIP or AUTO. I place the "thing on the thing" and release the ordinance and watch F6 as it lands short every time. I am about to pull my hair out at this point, I don't know what I'm doing or not doing. I also can't seem to cause damage to any amour or SAM targets with guns. I'm I just not holding my mouth right or is there something going on here? cbclark16 Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Not sure.... I'm not having that issue. Any way you can post a video of it?
sSkullZnBoneZz Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 I don't know how to add videos but here's a link to a track I just saved: https://app.box.com/s/ycv7y4ndk6je88tzewuf2lqmbw6th9eb Liquid Cooled i9 11900K | GeForce RTX 2080 | 32 gig RAM | SSD Samsung 850 EVO | HP Reverb G2 TM F/A-18 Stick | Virpil WarBRD | WinWIng F/A-18 HOTAS
sSkullZnBoneZz Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Okay, that would make sense, I am using CBU-99 and CBU-87. When I use MKs if my aim is perfect on vehicles they do hit. erautour Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Can you guys share your fuze settings for the CBUs? I get that they're landing short but I don't know how to set them up.

I have the same problem - I remember in A-10 my accuracy in CCRP was okay - dot in target usually meant hit. Here I have an impression that unguided bombs fall short, while the training smoke bombs fall okay where they should. Perhaps some delay is in default Program? ...10 years with dcs...

Terzi Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 I tried Mk-20 in CCIP, yes they fell short. I was trying to bomb the top of a hill twice. [CENTER] [/CENTER]
