mibo Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Hello, Bought the NS430 Navigation System, downloaded and activated it but it is not showing up anywhere. I opened a ticket and they replied to ask on the forum (No comment) It is stated that: "This module provides ability to display the NS 430 as a pop-up window in almost all aircraft (except for those that have their own advanced navigation systems like the A-10C, Ka-50 and F/A-18C)". WHERE DOES IT POP UP? Or has one to buy one of the two modules, L-39 Albatros or MI-8MTV2 ? This would be unfair and anyway misleading. Could someone explain? Thanks

Jeepyb Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Mine doesnt appear either and I am on open beta. Something is happening when I hit the keybind (the cockpit becomes ''brighter''like something is messing up the way the light is reflected a bit) but no pop up window. I am running on 3 screens if that helps. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Callsign: BUNZ https://www.5vwing.com/
dahlgren Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 I would suggest trying it with only one monitor. I have this problem in multi-monitor setup too and I think the popup is appearing outside the visible area on one of the screens. Probably because my monitors have different resolution.

I am running on 3 screens if that helps. For me it pops up on the lower left corner. I wish there was a way to change it, now I have to drag it manually with the mouse. I also use three screens. Check if you are rendering a bigger area than what is on your screens.

Loophole Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 I'm having this same problem - the NS430 is currently unusable on a non-trivial multi-monitor configuration. Is the default location of the window stored in a config file or a LUA file somewhere?
mibo Posted July 27, 2018 Author Posted July 27, 2018 No I an not in open beta. Can someone answer my questions please?
Morpheus Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 NS430 is now available on Release branch, did you install last update?
Guest Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Does this GPS have it's own lua file? Are any of the dials etc included in clickabledata.lua?
KEAPS Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Hi, By unplugging my second monitor, I found that the GPS is located in the right low corner of my second screen ( instruments ). Unfortunately for now, I don't know how to move it to another location.

Mimes Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Lalt+Lshift+B Bless you WildBillKelsoe, I spent days trying to get the NS430 to show as a popup, from DCS repair to numerous modules install and uninstall. Lalt+Lshift+B finally did the trick. By the way, is this magical key combo anywhere in the manual? I completely missed it if it was. Thank you again. Kind regards, Mimes "Joined forum in 2004 but flying Flanker since 1995 :o)"

If you go to the keybinding settings in-game, you can choose "NS-430" from the dropdown and find all the keybinds for it.
