LesHintz
Brand new (Though I am 73) to DCS. In FSX there is a move left or move right control option. I am not able to find that in DCS. Trying to do the "Cold & Dark" on the Huey and cannot get an overhead panel that I can read. All help appreciated. Les
FragBum
IIRC in the days before VR, the numeric keypad should allow you to look around. Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Bob_Bushman
Not in VR. There is a dedicated VR zoom function. In controls under "UI layer" named "Toggle VR zoom". I highly recommend binding it to your HOTAS, but unlike the regular zoom it is a fixed in out though. i7 8700k @ 4.7, 32GB 2900Mhz, 1080ti, CV1 Virpil MT-50\Delta, MFG Crosswind, Warthog Throttle, Virptil Mongoost-50 throttle. Vannipo
@LesHintz: In any plane, u have a chapter "Cockpit-sight" or something like that in controls. Here u can find all hotkeys possible to assign to adjust the camera. If u fly many hours in sims, u may need a TrackIR device.
Bob_Bushman
That is nonsense. This command is only active in VR and does not work in 2D. When I responded that I read his reply to mean more like "no zoom in VR", which is true if you use default zoom. i7 8700k @ 4.7, 32GB 2900Mhz, 1080ti, CV1 Virpil MT-50\Delta, MFG Crosswind, Warthog Throttle, Virptil Mongoost-50 throttle. Kang
If you hit LAlt+C you can deactivate the yellow cross mouse cursor and switch to mouse view. The mouse wheel lets you zoom in. Holding down the mouse wheel and moving the mouse left and right translates your head so you can look 'behind corners' a little.
