sirrah
Is it somehow possible to bind the zoom function to one of the hotas buttons? It is bound to my Oculus touch controller by default, but that's useless during combat situations. I allready tried all zoom key's I could find in the "controls setup" (I found several topics where this has been discussed, but I don't find the answer) System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
DowntownSIX
It's possible - on the drop down menu at the top left in controls you're looking for "UI Layer", there is a zoom function in there that works in VR. dburne
Yes and while you are in the UI layer binding VR zoom to a button, go ahead and bind VR-Recenter to a button as well. Very handy. You can also bind mouse functions in there to buttons. I have left click, right click, and scroll assigned to buttons on my Warthog throttle in there. sirrah
Excellent! And good idea to map the mouse buttons (I still use my old Thrustmaster Cougar hotas so I need all buttons available :D) System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
cercata
and scroll assigned to buttons on my Warthog throttle in there. You have the mouse scroll mapped to 2 buttons ? Or a rotary ?
dburne
You have the mouse scroll mapped to 2 buttons ? Or a rotary ? Two buttons on my VKB MCG Pro grip. I have a 4 way hat plus push on right side of grip, have all my mouse functions assigned to it. Hopefully, u use it with a modifier key, that u dont have to waste important buttons on a joystick for mouse functions...
milkojohns
Mouse mapped to stick, probably one of the buttons i use most. I map it to DMS switch and the zoom to the G overide. Tried a bunch of combos and couldnt find something that works better for me Feels great to zoom in and click a few buttons with hands on throttle and stick
