Perchè però una volta puntato sul bersaglio non si fa quel quadratino di lock e le bombe mi vanno fuori bersaglio?, dove sbaglio?

 

 

 

 

Il quadratino compare se attivi con il TMS forward la modalità point, cioè quella che serve per i bersagli in movimento, piazzandolo su un carro armato che si sposta sul terreno vedrai che lo aggancerà e lo seguirà in automatico, per le bombe suppongo tu voglia colpirlo con quelle laser, che al momento sono le uniche guidate disponibili per il Viper, prima di tutto devi passare alla modalità di sgancio CCRP, attivare il laser col selettore posto sul lato sinistro del pannello frontale, successivamente, una volta sganciata la bomba, dovrai premere e mantenere premuto il comando CAMERA/GUN Trigger-FIRST DETENT fino al momento in cui la bomba centrerà il carro armato, questo comando serve ad illuminare il bersaglio col laser per guidare la bomba fino all'impatto.

Beh, non subito. Il laser va attivato dopo, pena decadimento delle proprietà balistiche dell'arma.

Qualcuno ha ravvisato un comportamento strano dello square di lock?

Spesso quando faccio il lock su un bandit lo square comincia a muoversi in maniera erratica, a vokte indica una posizione che non è quella effettiva dell'aereo nemico... Il tutto in maniera random

DCS: F-16C Viper - Viper Mini-Updates

In our next Viper update, we will include a preliminary version of the Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) system of the F-16C. This is done using short (SCAN) and long (LOS) left presses of the Target Management Switch (TMS). This will then display a green circle and 4 (mode 4) if the contact on the radar display is friendly. If there is no response, then the contact is unknown/hostile.

 

Later, we will add more functions to the IFF system like other modes, time of day settings, and more. This preliminary version will now allow you to determine friend from foe outside of visual range.

One of the big focus items for the Viper is the air-to-air radar with immediate focus on:

 

1- Track While Scan (TWS) mode

2- Contact refresh rate in SAM

3- Dual Track Target mode for SAM

 

Items like TWS and SAM/LTWS refresh will then help bring new functions to the Hornet radar.

Sempre io a rompervi, ho notato che quando devo comunicare ad esempio con jtac ad una frequenza VHF es. 133.00 non riesco, mi rimane l'opzione in neretto nel menù comunicazioni, mentre se imposto come frequenza una UHF es. 233.00 riesco senza problemi?

In pratica sembra che tutte le frequenze VHF non funzionino.

Fossi in te non mi farei troppi problemi sul TGP , di sicuro non ha tutte le funzionalità che dovrebbe avere.

 

Probabilmente cambiando il waypoint corrente se ritorni su quello che vuoi dovrebbe tornare sul punto corretto.

FOR NEXT OPEN BETA UPDATE

 

In a previous video we looked at the Track While Scan (TWS) mode of the F-16C. In this short video, we’ll look at how to use it with the AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missile to simultaneously engage up to six targets.

 

The operation is quite simple:

 

1- Set the group of track targets as system targets (TMS right)

2- TMS right again to bug (designate) the closest target

3- Launch an AIM-120, then TMS right to cycle to the next in priority sequence, and then launch the next AIM-120

4- Rinse and repeat

 

Notes

 

All targets must be within the 25-degree scan area until their onboard seeker takes over.

 

Target will only get a search radar hit when engaged in this mode, until the AIM-120's radar goes active.

Dai se per questo anche l'F-18 meriterebbe lo stesso trattamento e te lo dice uno che ha entrambe i moduli. Dopo questo ultimo update hanno dichiarato che si daranno da fare con il 18 e ad essere sincero spero che sia cosi.
