2.5.4 - VR very intermittent shadow on one eye

Hmmm, maybe not fixed. Was out in my Huey a few mins ago, and the F18 earlier today, and this issue appears to still be there. Damn.

It is definitely not fixed, though it happens quite a bit less frequently.

I checked today in Caucasus (Winter), from external view looking directly into the sun, and both left and right eye flashed to black several times per second.

I do not fly 2-3 week. And after DCS update i cannot fly with Oculus.

I have constantly 22 fps. Mo matter what plane i use (clickable or not clickable).

In externel view i can`t normaly move camero around plane. Its moving with very strange effect (double or triple vision effect)

 

I lover DCS setting to minimum, and watch videos from this thread how to konfigured Nvidia control panel setting. No luck :(

 

Plz tell me that it is some bug which will be fixed...

Becouse now i just have one plan. Total reinstall system :(

Try taking the Rift off for 10-15 seconds and moving it away from your body so that the screens turn off and then putting it back on.

 

Also go to your saved games DCS folder and delete fxo, metashaders and metashaders2 folders.

You can try a repair of DCS.

You may wish to try turning turbo boost off--if you are running Win 10 .

Thanks for help.

After few days of try to repair... I decide to complitly reinstall my system.

And it`s helps. Now i have 45 fps and 90 fps when i whatch in sky. :)

The flickering is also related to crashes that happen, of which I have sent several crash reports lately:

 

 

 

First, the black flashes go bananas (+/- 10Hz), after which DCS crashes with black squares all over the screen.

 

 

 

 

 

And yes, this is a fresh driver install done in Safe Mode, and I always cleanse the fxo and metashaders2 folders...

This happens regardless of which driver version is installed.

This issue got quite a lot worse as per 2.5.4.28090.

 

Some modules such as the F-5 and MiG-19 make DCS crash after just a few minutes.

I notice one-eye flicker, but only in AV-8B cockpit. Last version, all drivers updated

Seems to only kick in for me when the shadow quality is above medium, and only flickers in the left eye.

For me it happens in the A-10c when I’m looking at about 2 and 10, catching the edge of the anti-collision lights.
