Rex854Warrior Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) Hello, Picked up the C-101 today, loving it so far, a massive thank you to the AvioDev team for all their work and dedication :). I did encounter a pretty serious bug though, when starting up with winds coming from behind my aircraft, the stall warning sometime triggers and this causes the oil pressure to drop to 0, which will destroy the engine. Both seem to be tied, did not test it in flight but this unfortunatly prevented me from starting up the engine without it being destroyed a couple of minutes after it was started. Track attached. Hoffster Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Relieved see this as i was about to write a similar thread, I thought my install was corrupt. Constant stall warning, Engine starts and then oil pressure, fuel pressure drops and it shuts off by itself. Same with cold and hot ramp start.
Vibora Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Known. The engine shouldn't be started and/or operated with tailwind, but provided that in DCS you can't set the aircraft start direction if you are not the mission creator, we'll probably have to do something with it. If that is real behavior, I'd leave it alone.
Hoffster Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Testing done. Starting hot in nevada from parking 15c temp. 2ms wind from different directions including crosswinds. Same result Constant stall vibration and oil pressure loss. Only remedy is 0 wind. Maby my install is broken after all.
Nero.ger Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 If that is real behavior, I'd leave it alone. and make this plane useless in Multiplay? no thanks 'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.
some1 Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 I see pressure dropping even if I start the mission on an active runway (with some crosswind) Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
Livers Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 and make this plane useless in Multiplay? no thanks Then have the mission designer fix the mission. I'll take realistic behavior.
Vibora Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Fixed. Check next update. Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Hoffster Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Good work. Already a great module at this early stage.
mahuja Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 Known. The engine shouldn't be started and/or operated with tailwind, This should not matter if you're sitting in a HAS, enclosed on all sides but one.
kontiuka Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 This should not matter if you're sitting in a HAS, enclosed on all sides but one.Shelters in DCS don't protect you from weather. That's why you see snow and rain falling through a bunker.
