Buzzles Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Ralfi put a little tease on his twitter earlier, so he's definitely got a copy. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
SonofEil Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 (edited) Is there an NDA in place that holds the vids until a certain date? They’re all likely subject to what’s called an embargo. It can either be a smaller part of a broader NDA or its own agreement. It can even be just a “gentleman’s agreement” with no formal contracts involved. Believe it or not, the latter is actually very common when it comes to early press access. For the sake of fairness the embargo will lift for everyone at the same time, so when it does expect a shit ton of super rad videos to flood YouTube. I do wonder if the embargo has a hard expiration/publication date or if they’re all waiting for a go-ahead from HB. In my experience with other media, embargoes almost always have hard lift dates, if for no other reason than to avoid miscommunication and hurt feelings. I have exactly zero experience with software publishing though. Edited December 30, 2018 by SonofEil i7 7700K @5.0, 1080Ti, 32GB DDR4, HMD Odyssey, TM WH, Crosswind Rudder...

As a photographer who has done everything from Own Projects* to Work For Hire**, I’d say you nailed the explanation... *I shoot whatever I want and publish as I see fit **I shoot what I’m told to shoot (and don’t shoot what I’m told to not shoot) and then it runs the gamut from I own the rights and can publish to the client owns the rights and the world beyond their use will never see a single pixel. As for F-14 previews, give me Ralfi, Jabbers and RedKite any day... rainyday Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 I'm sure we all have our personal preferences when it comes to YouTube DCS content creators (I'm just glad that there's variety of content being created by bunch of different people) - but all that I'm interested in right now is that some of them have the F-14 Tomcat module. And I really don't care who - I just wanna see some videos of the mighty Tomcat! :joystick: :D A-10C Warthog | AJS-37 Viggen | F-5E Tiger II | Mig-15bis | MiG-19P Farmer

MrPiper Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Might as well throw in Redkite while we are at it. I hope they do include Redkite as his videos and tutorials are excellent.
