Xilon_x Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 loock this is real the famous story of X-15 ufo intercept
Jester986 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Thats interesting... But could it just be marked/classified that way by whatever datalink source they are getting it from? Either auto classified by some sensor system based on overall shape/size etc. Or manually by some guy who didn't know what to make of it. Well if it was on the SA page they were getting some kind of IFF signal from it. Whether it was misclassified or intentionally misleading what it was who knows. And the guy who said it was just lens flare is probably right. With the amount of energy it takes to travel between stars there is no way aliens have visited us without us noticing unless they figured out how to break the second law of thermodynamics. And I'm not saying that couldn't be possible but until there is rock solid evidence it's so improbable it's not even worth discussing.
Jester986 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 And I wasn't trying to be a jerk in calling you a crusader but between the forum posts and the discord it seems like your pet bug that you're very intent on seeing fixed. If it is an issue yea get it sorted but to me it's hardly a concern when CCRP doesn't work, point track doesn't work from a cold start, a myriad of other strange tpod behavior, lack of jdams, etc it just hard for me to care about one system working too good in comparison.
Harlikwin Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 (edited) No worries, I didn't take it that way and I appear have a far thicker skin than many forum posters here. And hey I've been called way worse than a crusader. Deus Vult! And really while it may seem like a pet bug, the basic issues also apply equally to the CCRP modes as well, which also have the more pressing ASL issue. And yes, everyone has their long list of things they want fixed on the Harrier. And yes, having a CCIP bombing mode that functionally works in game is great at the moment, especially since alot of the other bombing modes don't. But really its a larger issue in that all the modes should be reasonably well modeled and working. And yes I know its EA and hopefully they will fix it. For me that particular issue is a bit philosophical as well. Here you have DCS which claims to be super high fidelity and ultra realistic sim(and some modules are exactly that IMO). But yet this fairly "simple" bombing system isn't actually modeled well or at all? And alot of people are just happy "putting the thing on the thing and hit the button" level of bombing? And lets compare that to the level of detail you are seeing other development moduleshttps://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=216324. I while I don't want it to turn into this dev vs that dev purse swinging contest it seems an apropos comparison to make. It just seems fairly contradictory to me if someone is claiming to be a "hardcore simmer". Tons of guys are using NATOops procedures for starting everything up just right, doing correct formation flying, mission planning etc etc. And at the end of the day I'm told they shouldn't or don't really care if the bombs are hitting anyway when they are doing their bombing run wrong? IDK seems a bit off to me. Edited February 26, 2019 by Harlikwin New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. While I admit I'm no F18 expert, I assume all contacts show on the SA page, whether from the aircraft own sensors (radar/flir whateva) OR datalink. I also "think" there is at least some basic level of target ID offered by the computor based on tgt size/other params. Or from the datalink. As for aliens. Who knows, I like the bug vs person analogy in that regard. We think we're smart, with a single point of reference for what "intelligent" is. JIMJAM Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 (edited) The "Tic Tac" ufo's are fairly common around the Gamecock MOA S of KSSC. I have seen 2. Flat white, no ver or horiz surfaces and a guess would be about the size of a Lear 25. One maintained straight and level but pulled away. #2 was a very fast mover and I was surprised it did not crack the air. Again straight and level. No report to atc as when operating near Bulldog range hot or cold you get a scripted "Not showing anything....." "Just made a call and Shaw says they have no aircraft in that area." And finally and my fav..." Would you like to file a report on that sighting? If so I can give you a number to call." No Thanks..... Edited February 26, 2019 by JIMJAM

Buzzles Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Can't believe I'm even going to bite but: Yeahhh, they're totally CGI. The 'skinny bob' one makes that clear. The quality of the 'alien' is far higher than the quality should be considering how poor that video is supposed to look. If you've ever watched old films, especially 60's/70's handcam ones, it's easily apparent. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!

Harlikwin Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 Illustrative of the entire issue , there WAS NO Apollo 20 . But its pretty convincing especially the KGB angle. Jester986 Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 The entire state of Florida was hit with sleeping gas for a day so no one would notice the Saturn 5 launch for Apollo 20. Luckily no one else in the world noticed Florida was missing for a day. Now the real question is what happened with Apollo 18 and 19?
Svsmokey Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 They were beamed up by UFOs.... 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
