Jester986 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Yesterday while trying to do some ground attack I couldn't get the bombs to drop. Selective jettison was off, pylon switch flipped up, rotary selector to bombs and also tried rip, bombs armed nose tail, also tried with guns missle camera switch up and down. Sidewinder pylons were off. Cycled all the weapons related switches. Eventually i got mk. 82s to come off the outer pylons but not the inner or center. No idea why those evetually worked, but only once. I'm not new to the module and know how to use bombs and have been for awhile, it has been awhile since I last did air to ground with it though.
Svend_Dellepude Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 You were probably in one of the dogfight modes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
Saguanay Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Same problem. If I have it set to the outers on and inners off and drop 2 - away they go. Turn on the inners and try to drop again. No go.
Flappie Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I have no such issue. Can you please attach a track? F-5E-3_bombing.trk ---
Saguanay Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 I don't have any. I did find out that if I select N/T for fusing that they work.
Mole Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Sorta "hijacking" this topic: I found in some cases it is not possible to set up to drop bombs or fire rockets, no dogfight mode engaged, safety trigger up, pylons elected, jettison in off position, pipper in manual (and it jumps according to movement, what should not be). Resetted every thing and started the procedure again- no way. Even the same in AA missiles after having done a ground attack. The AIM locks, pipper reads in range, but cannot launch (and no over G in pipper). It's digusting if it happens in a long term mission....
Flappie Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Please provide a track shwoing the issue. In order to do that, fly the mission reproduce your issue, then exit the mission, click "Save Track", then attach the track here. ---
Mole Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Sounds like a lot of work, I'll try... But thx for the interest anyway
Flappie Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Of course, if you find a way to replicate the issue 100% of the time, a step-by-step guide will do. ---
Mole Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Sorry, but after having tried it even in different terrain etc couldn't reproduce it, maybe I was wrong in the status of the jettison switch. But thx anyway
