Not too shiny? (Not a Bug)

Silver skins looks nice but are they not too shiny?

you need to fly it for a few weeks till it gets oxidised and not looking too shiny :)

No I don't think so,the pictures you have supplied YoYo are of aircraft that have been left out in the weather for display for years,and the metal has obviously become weathered or tarnished.

 

I think Razbam has got it right,as their skins show an aircraft with new metal,or an aircraft that has been cared for in a hangar.

 

My two pennies worth anyway.

The corrosion on the fasteners in the reference pictures make it pretty clear that they are from an aircraft that has likely been out out in the elements for quite a while. Personally I do not mind the shiny new aircraft look but I would not say no to some less cared for liveries as well,

Did You touch real MiG-19? Or MiG 15, 17, 21. They used the same standard. Its not polished metal. Please to check Belsimtek texture.

This is now perfect IMHO,this picture was taken after adding the new 'T4 Rough Metal texture' that is apparently going to be added on the next update.

Right, I can do always (when paint kit will be ready for users) but I think DCS has slogan:

"As real as it gets" ;P

 

Belsimtek did grat job with texture of 15bis, what is the reason, do not repeat it? The plane will look amazing also but with real look, not US, American standards (like P-51D for example).
