At shutdown when I flip the cover open for the hyd trans pump and shut it off, I notice that you can't flip the switch back and close the cover.

Also, after the engines have spooled down, the left engine lozzles stay at full open instead of shrinking down as they do in the real Tomcat since there is no hyd pressure in the nozzle anymore.

Are these bugs?

I'm having same issue with start up. I turn the switch off but when I try to turn it back on, it won't click back on.

AFAIK this is only the case on the F-14A, not on the B/D with the GE engines

I have had issues with the switch and cover not closing on clicks. Changing my view angle using trackIR actually fixes it for me. Adjusting to look at the switch from another angle and clicking lets me interact with it again.

Are you sure it is not the click zone that is really difficult to each ?

It seem the cover is hiding it and you need to get into weird viewpoints to click the switch and be able to close the cover

I just tried getting into every position I could around the switch using my TIR and couldn't get the switch back to the NORMAL position.

I'm having the same issue, the problem is the HYD TRANSFER PUMP cover hided the toggle switch no matter what angles I tried with same result. Hopefully can be fixed asap, I even cannot start the F-14 up till now.

For the moment you can just leave the hydraulic pump in normal. It will start up fine

That's the work around but the obsessive compulsive in me can't let it go. :smilewink:

It's pretty clear what's wrong, though. The hitbox for the switch is moving into the hitbox for the cover.

I have the same problem with the EMER FLT HYD switch, though it's moderately easier to get into a good angle to find the switch hitbox again compared to the hydraulic transfer pump switch.

The only solutions I can realistically see is either extending the switch hitbox so that it doesn't get covered by the safety cover, or by giving us keybindings for the switch. Or both.

I tried to take a screenshot of my in-game cursor position and mouse-over activation into green clickable cursor, but Geforce Experience auto hides the in-game cursor.

If you watch these screenshots closely though, you'll see how the hitbox has moved about 3 milimeters up.

I'd be fine with ability to bind a switch on my throttle.

The problem is that you can't click the sweet spot for the switch in the default position...even if you move the view to lean over and down you STILL won't be able to click it.. you have to use Ctrl+Shift+/ on the numpad to move your character back towards the seat more so you have an angle you'll be able to click it with. you can move forward again with Ctrl+Shift+* on the numpad.

I think they need to fix this issue.. along with the canopy switch not being accessible.
