I don't usually have the mirrors on when in VR to save fps erc. I tried them with the F-14 and my oh my they are just amazing!

 

I can see my head moving and with all the stuff on my head it feels like and looks like the image I am seeing in terms of weight. The Oculus Rift just adds to the sensation of having a mask fit to your face and the weight of my headphones enhance all that.

 

Just brilliant and thanks for making those details.

Yep the pilot body will just complete the full VR effect.

It does look great, but for me it's just too much of an FPS killer :(

Yeah, I love the mirrors also, but that 15-20 fps hit is not good.

Yeah, I love the mirrors also, but that 15-20 fps hit is not good.

 

I usually set mirrors to "on" when airborne. When on a busy Stennis with mirrors on fps are too low, but in mid air I don't really notice frame drops
