throttle IDLE/OFF by clicking it

I don´t own a hotas with fingerlifts so i have to map the throttle iddle and throttle off in buttons (4 in total). That´s a waste of buttons on my hotas for an action wich i use once in a mission.

 

In the F14 i can do this with a mouse click and it´s awesome.

Meh.. It's not a must have for me.

I have to remember 4 key combinations (pretty intuitive after a little practice) which I only use **at most** once per sortie.

Very few aircraft have clickable throttle stops (I think only the Viggen & L39?) and I do use those exclusively..

 

 

I guess it's a toss up.

Just want to add, it would be great if this was optional, since personally I tend to kill my engine with clickable throttle by accident. But thumbs up for users that don't have idle detent buttons!

+1 It's definitely a better way of doing things, for me the more things that are interactive, the better.

Why isn't this yet added? Is it that hard to assign 4 actions to the throttle when on min power?
