hhelikopter
Helo, I'd have a question about AV-8B Harrier II fighter. Which button can I turn off the annoying cautionary sound? ( pull up, etc..) This is really annoying in the cabin. schurem
Press the alt button on the UFC, then turn off GCAWS (?) in the panel above the left MFD. I5 9600KF, 32GB, 3080ti, G2, PointCTRL
Kang
There is also a volume control on the right panel, which sets the volume for all of these sounds.
Nealius
Note: Turning off GPWS only works for 20 minutes, after which it will reactivate. Also, the system is bugged, causing Betty to bitch at you any time you bank more than 60 degrees.

Captain Orso
And yet, Betty has saved my hide at least once while at very low altitude, and fiddling with something or other in the instruments. BTW, from the last update on 21-Jun-2019: DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM UFC ALT Function is now fully functional: - GPWS can be enabled/temporarily disabled - Pull Up Cue (PUC) can be enabled/disabled - Low Altitude Warning can be set. - Radar Altimeter can be turned On/Off - Selection of RADALT and GPS for Ground Level determination is enabled. I'll admit, I haven't had the aircraft long and Betty has also saved my bacon as you described lol. :music_whistling: No biggie, I was just surprised it had such a low threshold for low alt warnings - but the ability to disable them during any LL sections of a mission is obviously very handy.
