freemind_fly Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 A quick replay (FSX style) or video recorder style player (X-Plane) to have a look at your landing would be super nice!
Gierasimov Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Yes, or at least working track replay system with fast forward. Since this is a wishlist, well, I wish for Hornet to have its RECCE event mark switch coupled with marking a track event with possibility to jump to this mark in the replay. Kang Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Would actually like if there could be a button to start/stop track recording a separate track. It would allow us to actually record the parts of a mission we are interested in exclusively, making playback a whole lot more pleasant, plus negate the need for excessive time compression, which I am told is one of the major contributors to tracks going completely bananas towards the later parts.
METEOP Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Yeah... It used to work fine before no? I cannot myself wrap my head on how it is that we got to this sad state of affairs. Did they try some recording engine were the flight data is additive and not timestamped? It seems to me it is probably some rounding error somewhere. I do not understand  METEOP i5-6600K OC@4.5Ghz, GTX 1070 OC, 32Gb RAM, M.2 NVMe SSD Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Rudder Pro, Trackhat Clip, 1080p projector, Custom touchscreen rig, Ikarus touchscreen panel, Voice Attack, ReShade, Simshaker Aviator
discwalker Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 As Kang said i'm intrested in a mission part track recording. This way we can produce smaller tracks with the essential what we want to show. For a short error reproduction this way we not always needed to use the mission editor. GTX 1070 8GB, 16GB DDR3, W8.1 on SSD, DCS on another SSD

This would be great! I would mainly want to "record" my attacks for later review online. Even better if I could view them while still connected to the MP server. Currently I'm F6ing it on viggen CBU runs to see if/where I hit which has its problems. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. JumpinK Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 +1 for the working replay function "Landing on the ship during the daytime is like sex, it's either good or it's great. Landing on the ship at night is like a trip to the dentist, you may get away with no pain, but you just don't feel comfortable" — LCDR Thomas Quinn, USN.
