Remark after some more tests:

 

all CAP loadouts ends in a freeze, only the EMPTY loadout is working fine ...

 

Special is that the player uses a client slot

i can reproduce the freeze even if i use an AA loadout ...

not depending on task ...

 

my question is:

how can i revert my loadouts to the default loadouts?

 

there must be an individuel loadout on my F-18, that causes the problem ...

i made 4 single player mission

 

on all 4 maps i flew even the f18 with the second CAP loadout ...

 

On caucasus, PG and Normandy the missions were working fine

On NTTR the game freeze ...

 

what shall i do ?

I just tried a cold start in hornet on NTTR map, AA loadout. Game crashed as soon as the left engine spooled up and avionics 'flight controls' warnings started. Completely froze. Tried it twice, crashed at the same point both times.

I started a new mission on NTTR cold start with empty loadout and it was fine. Loaded the AA loadout after starting the jet on the ramp and it was fine. Might be something with having custom loadout already on the jet before startup.

 

 

Edit: Also tried to remake the custom AA loadout from scratch and started the mission again, same crash as before. Definately only empty loadouts are working.

 

Edit 2: Starting cold with custom loadout on Caucasus works fine. NTTR is broken when starting cold with custom loadouts.

Simple mission in NTTR (all other maps working fine)

One F-18 empty loadout ... all works fine ...

Reload with AA on cold start ... all works fine

I don't get that, mine will load into the mission fine but freezes when the jet starts up. Only on NTTR though.

depends on ...

 

if i define a "player" in ME then my DCS freeze at startup screen (preload world 1/60)

if i define a "client" in ME then my DCS freeze at the moment when i should be in the plane

 

this is only in F-18 in NTTR and AA weapons

 

if i load i.e. 4 MK82 and no AA, then it works fine

it did not work for the center line fuel tank too

 

 

i will update newest win 10 and the newest nvidia driver next time and

then i will give feedback ...

 

i let test this cases by some german friends and they did not had this problem ...

 

might be that there is a stupid constallation on my system :cry:

I have the same issue, all my missions with any type of loadout freeze during the loading screen, while every other mission with a clean jet is just fine

I'm also experiencing freezing on NTTR in the Hornet

 

• If the mission starts in the air and the aircraft is set to player: it freezes in the loading screen
  
• If the mission starts in the air and the aircraft is set to client: it freezes once I take control
  
• If the mission starts on the ground cold and dark: it freezes shortly after starting my right engine (a few seconds after Betty calls Flight Controls Flight Controls)
  

 

I've tried repairing my game as well as deleting FXO and Metashaders2 folders under Saved Games\DCS

It is associated with loadouts and very easy to replicate. Just place a clean Hornet in the ME on the NTTR, start the mission, everything works fine. Then go back to the ME put any kind of ordinance on the jet and the mission will freeze during loading.

 

Only happens on NTTR, not on Caucasus, can`t test on any other terrain as I don`t own them and Hornet has to be set as Player. I have attached my log file.

No mods .. like a virgin

 

F18 with AA

 

Start in the Caucasus -> all right

Start in NTTR as a player -> freeze at preload world 1/60

Start in NTTR as a client -> this time I make it into the cockpit ...

but that is only half built up and then freezes ...

 

before I bend my system even more, I'll wait and see if there's anything left ...

 

Are still enough other modules and map that work :)

Adding to this, only on NTTR - Mission set to "Client", game freezes after turning on the MPCD, regardless of loadout.

-FLY

-Immediately after spawn rearm with a AA weapon a fuel tank and full gun (1:sidewinder M, 5:fuel, default gun) or for me any weapon loadout with guns

-wait to "rearming complete" message

-Autostart

-freeze without you see anything in AMPCD, 24% left engine RPM (AMPCD turn on exactly after 24% left engine RPM IN AUTOSTART.)

 

If you startup the plane empty MANUALLY and shut down auto, then rearm, then autostart, plane startup normally. ->2,5,4,30386_NEVADA_HORNET_workaround.trk /bad version in filename, should 2.5.5.31917/

(Autostart after spawn (in empty) is successful in the mission.)

Have the same problem.

When I try the instant action mission cold and dark for the F/A-18C on the NTTR, the plane starts up perfectly.

If I then load a center fuel tank and 2 wingtip CAP 9M, the game freezes after I get the "copy" from the ground crew.

If I do the same mission, but put on the same load-out first, the game freezes just before the moment the MFCD should come to life with the moving map.

Multiplayer game on NTTR with hornet is broken. You can start without weapons, then rearm hot.
