Guest 14 Dead Men Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Paploo I read your post earlier and I just had to respond, If LOMAC loads .DLL's into memory infact anything that is kept it memory from LOMAC even it it is hardcoded or encrypted Artmoney is capable of exploiting any of these. ARTMONEY is awesome for changing things in memory. I remeber this FPS I used to play and there was these idiots who used to go around and beat you to death with a shovel, I'd emptied entire clips into them with a GPMG and couldnt kill them, I later found out they was using a memory HEX editor called Artmoney it's a Russian program and it can edit anything in memory. I know for a fact that if the options for LOMAC are sent by the server and are kept in memory then Artmoney CAN cheat it, all you have to do is find the memory location and change the HEX. Anyone who wants to argue this should seek out a dude called "SPONGE" he goes into the games chatroom on www.chat-avenue.com that dude could easily exploit any game I know. Does this dude fly around like he's on 1% of fuel but it never runs out? http://www.artmoney.ru/ http://wpepro.net/
Guest 14 Dead Men Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Anyone who thinks this is an extremely hard task is wrong, for instance say i want to exploit fuel i'd alter fuel about 5 times Artmoney would 'watch' for same consistent changes and can easily find the memory address in minutes. Artmoney is mostly Automatic for finding the memory addresses for diffrent option, I also know they use HEX converters to reprogram the HEX but someone who knows what there doing, its a breeze. If this dude is flying about like he has 1% of unlimited fuel it's got to be Artmoney, This is only possible if the options are kept in memory and any .DLL's encypted or not are definatly exploitable.
S77th-konkussion Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Oh look! An alternate posting account for an RVE member.. pleeeaaasse. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Guest 14 Dead Men Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I'm not RvE I'm on HL now under the name SO1 come chat if you dont beleive me. I know what Artmoney is capable of, As soon as I read Paploos post I laughed.
S77th-GOYA Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Someone please tell me that this guy didn't just announce to the whole forum how to hack LOMAC. Would this thing still work in a recorded track? 1
Pilotasso Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 It will still be spoted on the track, because the track will try to show you something your game cant cope and the players planes will swich to AI mode, and everything since will be different from what you remenber. That also happens with missiles, if either missile doesnt correlate with the players status on the mission and on the tape, for example, a player in the tape doesnt die when you remenber he had infact died, his plane will swich to AI mode from that point on. I have had tracks where an AI entity embodied a players plane and then the player came back to the mission and sudenly there were 2 of them on the track, one AI and the other Human. .
MoGas Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 This topic has a short life I guess!!:doh::thumbdown: 1

Pilotasso Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Doesnt matter, who does it will be spoted. But it wont be me doing the watch, I have quit playing for a few weeks now anyway. Good hunting. .
RvEPaploo Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 realy sad. i still not understand why peeps can use those kinda shit :pain: bah, show must go on, and let those kinda guys flying alone. [sIGPIC]http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/5880/signature3jc4.jpg[/sIGPIC]
VIKBELL Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Are people that desperate to win a flight simulator that they have to cheat that is very sad indeed.:( There are 2 categories of fighter pilots: those who have performed, and those who someday will perform, a magnificent defensive break turn toward a bug on the canopy. GGTharos Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 This is a pretty silly discussion, and the entire point of posting it HERE instead of sticking to a PM is instigation. Yes, this is all possible. No, it ain't too hard for those who know how. Yes, it will get spotted eventually. Cheaters using these methods have been around forever. Now if you're going to continue instigating and essentially implying that someone's a cheater, go elsewhere. Because this is the sole purpose of this thread. Ridiculous. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Guest 14 Dead Men Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Doesnt matter, who does it will be spoted. But it wont be me doing the watch, I have quit playing for a few weeks now anyway. Good hunting. There is only 1 anticheat program that can detect Artmoney and it is expensive. You wouldnt have a clue if it was being used imagine if someone could activate labels to be on inside a game?, Totally possible if the LOMAC options process is kept in memory. GG I'm not instigating anything I'm just educating, it happens on alot of game servers. I have no idea whos accusing who, I'm just educating you to the fact that anything LOMAC keeps in memory can be exploited.... Over and out.
AerialHawk Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I think another RvE in that thread finished his post with "over and out" :lol:
centermass Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 It is actually a good thing that is brought to light. So that all know it is a problem. Hopefully one that can be fixed. Perhaps the game can check the values in ram before it uses them if a value is out of parameters it could throw an error to all on the server. Also those who know the characteristics of the jet really well in LOMAC will be able to spot this problem, depending on how accurate the tac view represents the numbers the jet actually had when it was flying.
RvEPaploo Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 amen centermass ;) anyway ty for the info 14thDM, i just hope peeps will not run on it, coz if yes it is the end of the fun :/ [sIGPIC]http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/5880/signature3jc4.jpg[/sIGPIC]

I'm trying to help you and you try to get me banned?, Thanks.

Kuky Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I would like to say thanks for briging this to light. I wasn't aware something like this is possible and also I don't think people should get banned to pointing this out because no names have been mentioned therefore the post is not against any forum rules. On contrary, this post is helpfull since it informs of confirmed way of cheating. I am sure anyone playing this sim who cares about fair play will be gratefull for this information. Ice Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 BEDEVERE: Tell me. What do you do with witches? VILLAGER #2: Burn! VILLAGER #1: Burn! CROWD: Burn! Burn them up! Burn!... BEDEVERE: And what do you burn apart from witches? VILLAGER #1: More witches! VILLAGER #3: Shh! VILLAGER #2: Wood! BEDEVERE: So, why do witches burn? [pause] VILLAGER #3: B--... 'cause they're made of... wood? BEDEVERE: Good! Heh heh. CROWD: Oh, yeah. Oh. BEDEVERE: So, how do we tell whether she is made of wood? VILLAGER #1: Build a bridge out of her. BEDEVERE: Ah, but can you not also make bridges out of stone? VILLAGER #1: Oh, yeah. RANDOM: Oh, yeah. True. Uhh... BEDEVERE: Does wood sink in water? VILLAGER #1: No. No. VILLAGER #2: No, it floats! Kuky Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 your post is very helpfull... not :music_whistling: if this cheat is really possible I'd like to know about it and get it confirmed instead of posting something useless as this... and maybe even little provocative... or no... better lets be like you and just call the guys who claims the earth is round, crazy and stick with what we know already... earth is flat... or in lockon analogy... it's not possible to cheat and we're all crazy... In the end I think we should get this thingo tested and get it confirmed working or not, untill then it still just speculation... so any volounteers? Exactly - we cannot all run around like Ostriches and stick our Heads in the Sand.......Every person here has the right to be informed, be it directly relevant to the topic on hand or not. No-One has deliberately accused any other of employing the said "cheat/exploit". It has just been brought to light and I for one am grateful as I know now that which I have not known before.......and for that, I am Richer.
