I have a bug with radio since release.

Not systematic but very often, when contacting wingman or ground crew, it needs several tries before the radio order is sent.

Same problem here. Most of the time I have to repeat the message sequence several times. Very frustrating!

Edit: This is using the Push-to-Talk command. I tried the "Communication Menu" and that has no function at all; I think it's enabled with "Easy communication only".

Communication Menu will only work on the ground

 

if you are in the air use push to talk switch, it should help.

@BIGNEWY: I use the Push-to-Talk but still the problem exists as reported. Quite often I have to make a call to my wingmen or the ATC 3 times before I get a response. Only very rarely do I get a response on the first call. Plus, sometimes it's better and sometime worse, during the same mission at different times.

And the problem is not on the Anton only. Certainly it exists on all 3 German warbirds which I fly a lot.

Flying the 109 on Nevada lately I've also noticed that ATC and ground crew have problems responding if I click the relevant function keys too fast. When I wait two or so seconds between every click, comms seem to work more reliably.

Thanks I will continue to test, my efforts this morning were fruitless.

 

It is worth noting sometimes there is a delay from the wingman for a reply especially on busy mission or servers, the messages are queued

I'm also having this problem.I am going to look further into this but i have found that when i cycle the radio circuit breaker before i use radio it has better results(can't confirm just yet) otherwise i have to send messages multiple times to get to work.

It doesn't seem to matter what i do.I thought because i cycled the radio circuit breaker and it worker right after that,it must be that but no. I've tried it multiple times and it just sometimes takes multiple try's to get the radio to work.

If it is related to the ground crew radio issue it will get fixed.
