zaelu Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 O.o Gimme DX 10 Card and ad the pilot to the A-10 AFAIK Lock On is not a DX10 game, also DX10 is a sticker on Vista box... Oh... and I know a few DX10 Video Cards (badabim badabum) that are far worse than my DX9 7950GT card. You want one of those? :D [/OT] We don't really need such a detailed pilot for now as he is going to be covered by his shute shortly after touchdown :) . Also... many of those details could be made by texturing. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
muehle007 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 A single American style helmet is available too: http://www.meshfactory.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_26&products_id=471 Regards, Vinc_Vega Real life: Royal Bavarian Airforce My online squadron: http://www.vjs-germanknights.de

rattler Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I know this is a stupid question so don't be too hard on me. Nice pilot but we do have a pilot and seat for the A10 on lockonfiles. Is this just for the new a10 or to replace the american pilot with a new skin. As far as skinning goes can't you do all of the change you want to the original or are we updating to a more recent flight suit? Change for the sake of change does not make a lot of sense, so I will presume it is a more modern skin for the pilot. Now I said be easy on me.
Highwayman-Ed Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Don't worry Rattler... You've got a point, but equally we've already got an A-10... and scenery, and trees... Do we really need them? No not really but they add to the game imeasurably for most of us ;) Intel i9-9900KF @5.2GHz MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR3200 RAM MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio 40" Panasonic TH-40DX600U @ 4K Pimax Vision 8K Plus / Oculus Rift CV1 / HTC Vive Gametrix JetSeat with SimShaker Windows 10 64 Bit Home Edition [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

No not really but they add to the game imeasurably for most of us ;) Thanks for not being too hard on me and you are right in doing trees scenery and the A-10 like the F15c needed some real work done. I just thought that upgrading the original pilot would have been much easier, with a variety of skins, helmet modes etc. rather than do a complete new figure. the scenery and trees and A/c need more that skins and I totally agree that the modders time on that was put to very good use and well appreciated by all including me. Pilot I thought could be skinned much easier and not waste time modding a new one, after all we don't get to see him much , not like scenery,trees,A/c ,etc. I do agree with the ground crew project now that is a good example of what should be modded and not just skinned. With animations etc. that is a big mod and one that will be well appreciated by all. Thanks for not bashing me, just my thoughts. Cheers, have a good one.
Yeniceri Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 well actually... We cant use the old pilot.. It is impossible to use some parts of the stock model and remodel the rest.. They all in the same file and you can export to that type, but you cannot import.. And i agree, you dont see the pilot that much.. But i believe that, little details makes a difference... cheers Yeniceri [sIGPIC]http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa200/misikci/41-imza-1.jpg[/sIGPIC] "To infinity...and beyond!.."
